What you said about Pavlina being able to come back is so important. It's so important for our children and friends to have a "SAFE PLACE TO LAND" .
Damn straight !
Exactly ❤
Yes... making sure Pavlina feels secure is very very important. I liked that very much and know how genuinely Stephanie meant it too.
Here! Here!
This was one of the best vlogs. I am loving the dailies!
Stephanie (focusing on the positive): "You know what we should be? Grateful."
Uncle Stephen: "We should be vegan."
😂
Giggle, giggle, giggle!!!!
LOL
that was so funny.
Uncle Stephan always cracks me up🤣👍
That was really funny.😂
I'm American and don't feel the least insulted by anyone who feels like celebrating thanksgiving
The more the merrier, no matter what part of the world you live in.😊❤🌍🌎🌏
Me too!!! We should all give thanks❤️
I absolutely agree. The dishes are different but meaning of the day is the same.
Brazil celebrates a national holiday of thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November, too.
@@Rosarium2007 I didn't know that! That's wonderful.😊
Marie and Stephanie have a great friendship.
Hanni is so funny
I thought her name was Honey for the longest time, I grew up with a friend named Honey. I an American and I didn't even know the name Hanni existed! 😂
Lol , a dutchmen , an English lady and a Norwegian celebrating 🦃American Thanksgiving 😅
It sounds like the beginning of an intriguing story.😊
In France
It actually sounds American. We are a nation of immigrants...
@@Susan-il1fv and eaters!
Sounds like the beginning of a joke...three people walk into a bar (or in this case a chateau). 😂
I wish Pavlina the very best. She has shown much growth in her time at the Chateau. I hope she is going to safe places only and not back to Ukraine at this time. Safe travels, you will be missed by everybody!!
You said there was an epic cleaning of the laundry room and then did not show it to us! March in there and give us the update please! 😅
Yeah, that was def a weird edit choice. I'm sure it was an oversight. Shouldn't have enticed us without the pay-off 😂
I’m so jealous this is the first year EVER IM not spending days cooking for thanksgiving. Husband is in the hospital, daughter works as RN in labor delivery. I’m so thankful I can live vicariously through LaLande. Reminds me of LOCKDOWN. Have a blessed day. Cherries in the sauce should be actually quite good. BE THE SAUCE
cherries would have helped tremendously as red currents are terribly tart
Its not cherry season. @@Motherhubbard170
Sending you love.
I pray your husband recovers quickly and fully, and am sorry you’ll have to miss Thanksgiving.
Praying your husband recovers quickly! Maybe you can celebrate at a later date.
Good bye Pavlina. It has been lovely having you on the screen. Your charm will be missed. Happy Trails.💝
Pavlina, my best wishes for you on your travels. I remember when you first appeared at the chateau when things became uncertain in your homeland. I am so glad you found a new home with Stephanie and her extended family, and I hope you will return. You will be missed.
😪
I missed Stephnie's cooking. She really knows how to have fun with food
Every day I think of Pavlina. Every day. Someone here mentioned a soft place to land, and I love that so much. This channel exudes love in every single way. I beyond grateful for it. Happy holidays. ❤️
Stephanie, celebrating another culture’s tradition is wonderful. Learning about the world is what we all need to do!
Wow, Phillipp the leaves were great, art takes time!
Love that Hanni is back xxx
Happy Thanksgiving to all. I count you all as part of what I'm thankful for. ❤
So excited for Pavlina to have a blast while finding her place in this wonderful world.
Can’t wait till she returns, filled with stories to tell!
Oh, bye Pavlina! I hope all the gals find loves of their own!
You welcomed Pavlina when she needed you the most. I hope she has an amazing time travelling and she knows she always has a home at La Lande xxxx
This particular vlog is why I like Chateau Diaries so much. The bonhoime and such interesting inter actions between all of you is just plain refreshing.
While in London, i was spending it alone...a guy i had met, had spent Thanksgivng in the US...he took me to pub that cooked a turkey and gave me Thanksgiving...nice gestures make the memories...Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
I just love seeing little Ruby. And so adorable Lancelot who has a much better wardrobe than mine! Happy Thanksgiving!!
Sooo happy to see HANNIE,ITS BEEN A LONG TIME,SHE MAKES ME HAPPY SO CUTE.I WILL MISS PAVLINA,HOPE SHE COMES BACK VERY SSOON.SORRY FOR THE CAPS. HI HANNIE😄⭐️🦃☕️☕️🍁❤️🇺🇸
Royal Worcester "Evesham" oven to tableware. English classic. Well done Philip. I've loved mine for years.
I love the familial teasing that goes on at La Lande. I've always told my friends that if they are being teased by my family than they have been accepted lovingly but if they are being treated politely than they may not get a repeat invitation. lol
Watching this is a scream. I am laughing hysterically. You are all so adorable.
Glad to know that the Thermomix stand-off didn’t go thermonuclear. Rational heads prevailed and a good mixed blend was achieved by both parties. As for Philip and Hanni’s “turkey” shopping expertise, we’ll have to wait for the final reviews. Same goes for the faux cranberry sauce made with dried cherries and fresh red currents. Who knows, the “cranberry” sauce could spark a Thanksgiving revolution-a new viral UA-cam trend …. And Philip’s painstaking pastry maple leaf and Eiffel Towers took how many hours? In the end, it looks like a great time was had by all.
Happy Thanksgiving to all LaLanders, 🦃🥧 🇫🇷 and Bon Voyage to our beloved Pavlina....may your adventures be filled with joy!!🫶🧳 Love to all from Canada 🇨🇦❤️
That is a treasure trove of Evesham, the “everyday” pattern I chose as a bride in 1976. Happy Thanksgiving to all🍁🍁🍁
I am an American and love to see you having fun in the kitchen cooking a Thanksgiving dinner ( the twists you add are wonderful-bourbon cream!). I have Trinidad friends that have started having Thanksgiving dinner since their daughter celebrated many of them at my house during her college years! Food is a great way of celebrating and borrowing traditions form other countries is so fun! Happy Thanksgiving LaLanders! 🦃 ❤
Oh, Ruby! I am so glad to see him. I worry about the poor wee fellow. I am a devoted cat person. I have my own Ginger whose name is Fergus and his brother, Finnigan, a tuxedo. So sad to see Pavlina depart. I hope her family is safe in Ukraine. She must worry.
Is Ruby allowed inside? Or is she a barn cat?
Ruby is a barn cat, unfortunately. Selmar took great care if him and had also had him neutered after he had a nastly accident. Stephanie is allergic to cats (as well as horses). I have never seen him inside the chateau. I'm sure he is well taken care of. Everyone there is so very kind.
He was
@@Kiwichick138 He’s an outdoor kitty, he hangs out in the outbuildings as well. 😻
he is extremely well cared for......
He loves the wood hanger and straw loft above and the woodshop. If he sleeps in the workshop, he has to be locked in at night. He could sleep in the back hall if he wants but mostly won't.
The dishes are beautiful 😊😊🦃🦃🦃Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
It is truly heart warming, to see the full circles of life the happen at Lalande …✨❤️
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for being apart of this fantastic community! Thank you Stephanie for bringing such joy and happiness to us all! Keri💜
That mug holding mitt is everything 😊
Loving your daily banters LaLanders. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
You really are adept at making work fun...
I love the creativity of the red currant sauce
Happy Thanksgiving from Indiana. Life at LeLand teaches to be flexible as life is always changing. Pavlina enjoy your walk about in Europe. Love and hugs to all on Thanksgiving day.
I love all your improvisation. The cherry-currant sauce sounds intriguing. I have terrific recipes for bourbon cranberries and rum sweet potatoes. Yum!
The rum sweet potatoes sound delicious 😋
Thank you so much for all the joy!! 🫶💞🫶
Lovely Pavlina.... Gratitude for you all.
Pavlina, best wishes on your travels. Please come back for Christmas.
Thanksgiving is going to be epic there this year. So much preparation in the kitchen. I guess Lancelot wasn't allowed in the kitchen during cooking. I missed him today.
Love an experimental Thanksgiving! Thanks for sharing. Love to all
Stephanie, love seeing you pull some faces we rarely see. It is so sad to see such lovely friends go, but I know Advent is soon and there will be lots more happenings at the Chateau. Best wishes Pavlina! Hope to see you back soon!
Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone from US!
Love that you've embraced Thanksgiving. It really is a wonderful holiday.
Loved seeing Ruby 😻Sad to see Pavlina go. Happy Thanksgiving 🍁🦃🍽
Personal rule of mine- never ask what could go wrong- it opens up little wormholes of uncertainty and chaos. On the other hand, it is sometimes amusing and insightful to break personal rules! Happy Thanksgiving everyone❤🍁🍂🪹🥀🪺🦚
Thank you for sharing and if I may, I’d like to highlight the gorgeous dishes that Phillip picked up at the auction.. Absolutely beautiful!! Love the entire video, embroidery and cooking… so much fun.. thank you and again.. Happy thanksgiving to all Lalanders🎉
🦃 Happy Thanksgiving from Palm Coast Florida USA. I love Chateau Diaries!! 🦃
Hysterical food purchases and prep!!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I’m so thankful for my LaLande family who brings such joy all year long!!
Love from Mary in Southern California 💗🦃🍁
The most beautiful thing about the video is that it is very nice to work together in the kitchen. I love this with my brothers. We prepare sweets for Christmas, jokes and laughter. It makes me very happy. May God be with you.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What great fun watching you all cook and make new combinations of food. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
In hospital but so enjoyPhillop wearing the apron I made for him with the hrdgehogs wearing glassrs. Watch every episode .love all of you especially Isabells spunk.
Get well soon!
Get well soon!
🥂Wishing you good cheer, my dear. Philip looked adorable in your hedgehog apron. 🕊God bless you w/a swift recovery & return to your routines.

Get well soon 🌷
Stephanie, through UA-cam and all of the channels I love, I’ve ordered so much stuff because it looks amazing. Most things are. But I just can’t, cannot, order this embroidery machine. But that thing is tempting. I love it so much much and you are becoming a master of that craft. ❤️
We had friends from Britain who lived in the States for a few years. They spent every Thanksgiving with us and fell in love with the holiday. They have celebrated Thanksgiving every year since their eeturn!
Oh, Ruby ❤️😺
Love this vlog today! Everyone should have this much fun in the kitchen!
Have a safe journey Pavlina, You will be missed, Great video. Love to all.
Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. SO good to see you in the kitchen again. The serving dishes looks so pretty. Its gonna make the food more delicious. lol
what a joy to watch you all with big smiles … it is especially soo good to see Marie so happy … I laughed a lot with the “cranberry” sauce adventure … having lived in the States several years and in UK, the cranberry sauce is always on our holiday menus … in the States, I used to buy the canned ones and added fresh ones to my sauce … but now, I live in France for 8 years and as there is no cranberry sauce here, I order it from Amazon when I find them for reasonable prices at any time of the year and I always have many cans in advance … it became an obsession 😂 happy thanksgiving to all 🦃🌽🍠🥂🍾
The canned wiggly stuff in an absolute must in our household. I must admit I sometimes do the same and add some fresh cranberries and orange juice as well. So good.
Have a happy thanksgiving from Massachusetts. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.
I love seeing Ruby the cat. 😍🐈
Marie is the Chateau’s hidden gem 💎 that’s shining bright ✨. So happy to see her in her element. I’ve never seen her so genuinely happy and at ease as she has been since her return. ❤️🪻
Stephanie, Marie, & Philip remind me of being in a college living their best lives being silly together so carefree while bringing out the best in each other.
I agree & am happy that she is happy!
So happy to catch the replay … have fun times pavlina … love the resourcefulness … happy Thanksgiving La lande
Absolutely exquisite embroidery choices! Well done!
Sad to see Pavlina leave. Good luck Pavlina! Love that you are all celebrating Thanksgiving ❤
Safe travels, Paulina. 🥲
Happy Thanksgiving.....pablena is going to be missed, hope you all have a wonderful day
This diary seems to be a late posting, now I know why! I was getting worried but now ready to sit back and enjoy the best (but later) start to my day.😅👏💖
HappyThanksgiving to all LaLanders near and far. Best of luck to Pavlina, I hope she has an amazing time and returns to LaLande with the man of her dreams!!
My family 🇺🇸 has resorted to ordering all Thanksgiving foods from Fresh Market to be cooked ahead of time so we picked it all up today. We have only to bake the turkey which for the first time will be two 7 pound breasts instead of a whole turkey on a bed of celery, onion, carrots & rosemary. They would have cooked the turkey too but we want the house to smell of it‼️ 6 hours until Thanksgiving ❣️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🦃
Happy Thanksgiving Holly! Love from Tampa❤
I love Fresh Market I bet that will be delicious!
The Thanksgiving smell is so important!
My mum always used leftover pie scraps to make little mini rugelach, with cinnamon and sugar and butter, which served as the reward for helping with pie making. But chocolate filled pastry sounds like a winner, too!
Happy thanksgiving to you all! Your menu looked delicious. Here in Washington state I have a few hours yet until we feast! 🦃🥘🦃 oh, and Happy Travels Pavelina-you will most certainly be missed. Hope you’ve left to reunite with your family. ❤️but do come back!!
Welcome back Hanni! Pavlina, hope you have a wonderful trip. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
Looks like the Thanksgiving feast will be bountiful and delicious! We all have something to be grateful for…embrace it! There is a constant turnover of people arriving and leaving the chateau, so many good friends! Thanks Stephanie 🙏❤️
The cup holder is a must have. I will be giving those as gifts this Christmas.
I really enjoyed this video -such fun.
The porcelain is beautiful and the apron works nicely! Didn't know Thanksgiving was celebrated in Europe - maybe the Brits celebrate it as a way of saying "good riddance" to the Pilgrims?? (ha ha)
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving. However Lalanders are. They take every possibility to celebrate 😁
Any excuse for a party!
LOL
Evesham was my everyday wedding china and I still love it - 46 years later! ❤️
We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in England, but I think it is a lovely idea. Happy Thanksgiving to you all! xxx
you should start thinking about publishing a Chateau de Lalande's Cook Book
So nice of Ruby to mew goodbyes to Antje and Pavlina.
The mugs remind me of Calamityware. 😊
Safe adventures, Pavlina!
I think Stephanie got some Calamityware mugs via Château Unwrapped.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all🦃❤️🦃 Love all that you share, you-all are a delight🤗 Love all the variety of food preparation s💕I also love your embroidery sewing machine and your beautiful monogram s! Cheers! 🥰
This was an outstanding video, full of interest and it was so good to see your preparations for the new season. All I can say is EVERYTHING looks stunning and what an incredibly multi talented team you are at La Lande. ❤
Just wanted to say thank you, I'm grateful for you all. I know I don't matter to you but you all matter to me, thank you for being in the world.
Bye Pavlina ! Fun times in the kitchen! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽
Pavlina, enjoy your travels but already wishing you were back in Lalande!
You are a bunch of night hawks for sure…and that makes me feel better because I am one as well… 👍🥰🥂😁
Next year we need to send you cans of Cranberry sauce. It’s what we use in the South here in the States I prefer the Jellied, but they make the crunchy kind as well. It’s quick , easy, and cheap. One less thing to make from scratch 😊
so easy to make from fresh berries, and you can adjust the sugar level and spices to taste; that said, my late FIL (from KY) would only eat the canned jellied sauce.
I love the canned Ocean Spray jellied cranberry sauce! Can’t have Thanksgiving without it! 😋
@@klmjtr me too
@@klmjtr I had come to love the kind with berries, after loving the jellied from childhood. But both contain high fructose corn syrup.
@@betteurbain7911. But maybe not in France? I bet they don’t allow it!
with Pavlinna is traveling maybe you should do up her room, like you and Phillip started planning.
A midnight snack? It is 2.20am! That is almost breakfast.🤣🤣
I was so excited to see your Royal Worcester Evesham dishes as that is the pattern I have for my everyday dishes. I have a set of 12 that are microwaveable & a set with the gold trim for when company comes besides my Lennox china. We got the Evesham when we were stationed in England in 1985-1988 while with the USAF. Still one of my favorite patterns! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! Love from the US.
I have the round casserole dish and a vegetable dish. Love them. Elegant and practical.
Ah, Royal Woo, as I call it. I had the gold and cream Embassy dinner plates but never used them. They were pretty enough to eat themselves.
I thought you were going to show us the laundry room.
I so wanted to see the laundry room tidy up.
the left over cauliflower/cheddar soup would be nice in mashed potetoes
I think it's time for a costume party. Haven't had ine in ages.
I don’t know the origin of the thanksgiving crockery, but I will say that it is just exactly on par for what would be appropriate at a true Maryland/Virginia first thanksgiving, pilgrims meet natives, cornucopia, vernacular thanksgiving table!
