That’s my Sunday school lesson for today,Lord l pray that Your spirit work in my and the children’s heart so we are humbled in our walk with You and Your forgiveness each day so we give you our full devotion
Our love for Jesus will always be in direct proportion to how we perceive our need for him! He who is forgiven much, loves much! This is one my favorite stories because I can relate it to my own life. My creditor, my Lord and Savior Jesus, forgave and saved me the from the largest debt I could never have paid. Only by His unmerited grace and mercy.
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (October 27), Luke 7:37-48 was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson for today. It was entitled "Grateful Faith." The beloved hymn, "Oh, for a Thousand Tongues to Sing," written by Charles Wesley (1707-1788), is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination.
