You need to watch his MTV music awards entrance in 2000. He was performing The Real Slim Shady and The Way I Am and had with him over 100 “Slim Shadys” all with blonde hair, white t shirts and blue jeans.
On this track Em literally becomes the percussion of the beat and it’s so hard to do that as a rapper to keep a constant rhythm throughout an entire song rather than switch it up this is why Eminem Is not only The Goat Of Hip Hop but One Of The Greatest Music Artist To Ever Live! I absolutely hold this song in the highest regards. It gave me the confidence to break out of my shell in high school. If you haven't checked it out yet, sing for the moment and soldier were the other songs that really hit home for me. They're real af.

And I went out and got the Recovery album, I could only get the censored version cause my grandma didn’t want me listening to cuss words lol. This is my favorite song from that Eminem era...mainly bcs of his direct language and that the sound of the words combined are so perfectly put together it is like a percussion and the piano melody is beautiful...Simple but so perfect ❤
EMINEM and Marilyn Manson are actually friends and Manson actually showed up to one of his shows to be a hype man and he has a song with EMINEM’s protege Skylar Grey called Can’t Haunt Me. Checkout Marilyn Manson’s song Say 10. To the untrained ear it sounds like a Devil worshiper song, but in actuality it’s a really deep track. Manson has always made songs like that like This Is the New Shit talking about how people only care about the new track out simply just because it’s new, even if it’s lacking any real substance or his song Fight Song talking about overhyped anthem songs people use at sporting events. Then there is Beautiful People where he talks about popularity and how shallow and temporary it really is.
This song came about when Em gave his album to interscope when he thought he was done with the album but they came back and told him his album was dark and they needed a light song like "My Name Is" on the record to get radio play. He then went to the studio and recorded this song and then finally did "The Real Slim Shady"
The passion in his voice on this song is unmatched.

I honestly think this might be his best song. And it's crazy because the label didn't think it was poppy enough to be a lead single so he wrote The Real Slim Shady. This track is just absolute fire in all ways and he's so raw with what he's saying.

Honestly this is the best track on the MMLP album. I can relate. I mean listen to the sound of his voice when he’s rapping (when he’s angry). I’ve been hearing this song since it came out in 2000 and whether anyone believe it’s or not but from 2000 to THIS DAY, I STILL get those chills and goosebumps in my arms and in the back of my neck, hearing this song. In my opinion it’s the best track on the MMLP album. Not even exaggerating. He’s a lyrical genius and will always hold the spot as number 1 rapper AND the Rap God 🏆 👑 🙌🏼 🙏🏼 #King #God #Legend
So I was curious after watching that last video I commented on if you had done this yet. Sat with my brother and watched the ones you did from the first two albums then see you covering stuff other channels that grew up on Em and catch everything. You can't compete with that. Your golden ticket is watching the stuff my brother and I grew up and it's like reliving that moment again. I think that's we your viewers enjoy the most. I remember listening to this album on repeat in the car for 6 months straight. Vibbing out in the driveway smoking with some friends at night. It seemed like every time I caught something I didn't the previous time. I feel lucky to have grown up with Em as my most influential artist. Of course I didn't feel those two in the middle. Took some time for him to figure shit out living sober. Now there's no doubt he's the GOAT. That's your niche. The early stuff. Remeber he always had at least two singles on each album the label made him put on there for radio play and make sales. It's the other tracks that are the bangers. No Em fan rides around still listening to My name is or the 8 mile song. Not sure if you've done it yet but give Guilt Conscience a review. Em an Dre go back and forth the like the angel and demon on your soldier. Similar to the way Joyner does. It's slept on. Mostly because it's so controversial but those were always the best. Keep up the good work. Having a feeling your gonna kill it this year.

It's Eminem and Royce Da 5'9. AKA bad meets evil. It's called all I think about. In my opinion one of the most far heavy songs he has. And they complement each other so well finishing each other's verses and popping in here and there. The other one is Kings never die. Featuring Gwen Stefani. And the last one I was just thinking about while saying this was don't front. It was another special edition CD that was paired with a call of duty game I think.
