with videos like these I understand that its not that easy to cover,or even make beats and songs! great work, nice set up too. i allso like the effect u used to edit the video!
cool channel i just sold 2 mpcs and im using an ipad air2 and have a tr8 and sp404 love to see other people make cool stuff on the ipad j think its really fun
Nicely executed. I'm torn as to the Circuit though... I emulated many of the functions of this device with a 1st gen Launchpad Mini running the Launchpad95' script through an iConnectMidi then back into Ableton. Just curious, are you familiar with this and if so as I don't have one to mess with, is it worth the $300?
I use my Circuit for about 2 month now and it got my main machine within 2 weeks. you can put your own drum samples on it and create your own patches for the synths with an editor. so I really think it is worth the money. I don't want to use a laptop on stage, so TR he setup you talk about would be nothing I'd use. just visit your local music tools dealer, get your hands on that machine and you'll know, what I mean.
Part of the point is that you don't have to use Ableton to start writing, which is a very different workflow. Launchpad is great, but you're locked to a computer.
Man ur really making me wanna get better at non sampled music I don't know how to read music but I know each note and some chord progressions plus chordion app rocks and Korg gadget and most of the iPad stuff has that key and scale mode which is great for me do u use the scale lock ever?
Wow! Very nicely done. Are you then using say Synth 1 on Circuit to play Volca keys and Synth 2 to play iPad iOS App Synths? May I also ask if an iPad will directly connect to the Circuit since via USB Circuit does midi and clock, right? Is this recorded directly into whichever DAW you utilize? Sorry for all the questions but my Circuit just arrived and have to update and register yet as just got in. Thanks in advance for both your time and this wonderful musical demo showing how capable this Circuit can be even with inherent limitations or perceived as such. Demo made my morning and sparked creativity! Sweet!
Thank you, Robert! iPad is connected directly via USB from Circuit and the Volca Keys is connected via Midi Out from the Circuit. Circuit sends Master Clock. Synth1 is sequencing the Volca Keys and iMini on the iPad. For sequencing Anymoog I used Fugue Machine on iPad which is only receiving the clock from Circuit. Synth2 on Circuit I just used at the end for some Noise Effect direktly from the Circuit. I also added manualy some reverb on the Volca Keys and iPad Audio with my Yamaha Mixer. Hope I could help you out. Sorry for the bad english :-)

That's awesome, where do you learn the beginning of the song ? (the piano)
Szadek Thomas thanks! i "learned" it by my ears :) programmed the sequence in fugue machine on my ipad.
Whaou that's insane 😂
dope
Thanks Byron Lucas!
This is awesome! is there a midi file available?
Checked out the original version and I'd prefer this one
techstyle123 thanks, my friend!

nice!
so the Circuit synth channel 1 is sequencing the Volca Keys, right and the 2 apps run on their own sequencers. did I get that right?
Very nice cover. Does the base come from the volca keys?
Tobias Braun yes
how do you sync everything up
Awesome cover!!! I'm about to get a circuit, just curious, how do you sequence the triplets on the bass line using the circuit?
jordan marks Thanks Jordan! The triplets were created on the volca itself using the lfo. ✌🏼
Awesome dude! Are you using the circuit as a midi controller to play the arp parts with animoog?
iggy's adventures thanks! circuit is sending midiclock to fugue on ipad which is doing the arp sequence for animoog. ✌🏼
wahouuuuuuu !!!!!!
