3:01. To me the espers pick their own powers from the personal realities they created in order to make them manifest in the real world, the Level 5's and maybe even some Level 4's simply inact their personal realities on the world in a better way then say Level 1's, 2's, or 3's.

I think even if an Esper can't change their true will they can develop it in a different direction. Like the same person choosing a different path in life on a what if. Mugino I think her not being immune to the recoil of her own beans is representative of her self destructive nature. Also I'm sure there is some meaning in her power being about wave/particle duality. Accelerators power I think represents his isolation from others and having trouble forming connections with others and tp prevent from hurting himself he hurts others. Urihara's power is a amazing btw. It's a fuck you to entropy
I would say Kamachi leaves all the girls touma saves with an open-ended relationship with him to keep them around and unable to move on with their lives fully. This way, everyone in the Kamijou faction are unaware of each other and pin the reason nobody confesses to bad luck, bad timing, or unable to be with him properly due to imagine breakers passive.
Yeah true, I just used it as an example as its one of those powers where we have seen a lot of users for it, and its different to abilities like Vector control or Dark Matter which only have one user (not counting Rensas or non-espers lol)
My personal theory is that he’s manipulating sound waves and he uses the sound waves to manipulate people’s brains kinda like Misaki and her hydrokinetic power. Both Aihana and Misaki domains are mental, both Mugino and Misaka domains is a fundamental force, and both Kakine and accelerator can touch the domain of God.
Incredible video, in addition to showing how incredible the scientific side is, I also like how you managed to delve deeper into each of the lvl 5 Espers and relate their powers to their ideals and desires, making them more interesting in my view. I'll also add that watching this video reminds me that I still need to read the ITEM Spinoff lol.

Sogita's powers work just like in Mob Psycho 100 where Mob was most powerful and most emotional who had to keep his emotions under control to his powers don't take over and destroy everything.
I always thought Shokuhou's mistreatment as a child was the response to her power, her ability to trust others, leading to her paranoia might be why she can't push her ability
I think Accelerator’s true will is that of a reformer. At first, he destroyed things for the ”greater good”, a typical revolutionary mindset. Then, realizing that he had nothing to show for his crimes, he started down the path of reforming himself into a better person. Then he proceeded to reform Academy city’s whole political system. So how does this relate to Vector Control? Well, his ability is literally to take the already existing universe around him, and to shape it to his will, to feform the world’s vectors.
I like the esper power system since it isn't all about overpowered powers but the calculation capabilities since dark matter is more versatile than vector control but accelerator has a Mega Big Brain than Kakine
I have a feeling Misaka’s ”true will” is related to being a good big sister. Other than her short fuse, her ”big sister energy” is probably one of the most consistant character traits of hers. Her purpose in Aleister’s plans may be done, but her true will probably still applies. She even jokingly told Touma that ”big sister Mikoto will help you”, despite her being younger than him. Then there’s Kuroko’s nickname for her.
Well I certainly was not expecting a vide today on one of my favorite universes that never fails to deliver. It really is very interesting how each person's abilities definitely correlate to their personalities and how strong they can become. How this series doesn't get a lot more anime adaptations is beyond me. Each of these characters brings so much to the table that we should have a mountain of anime already being produced. Having each character broken down and gone over like that was well worth the watch and highly entertaining. I would love to finally find out who # 6 really is, but i suppose the mystery is why it makes it so interesting and we would lose that if a reveal happened. Poor Misaki, lost love always sucks. I also always enjoy hearing about Sogiita, the power of the mind and sheer willpower is also something that has carried me many times in my life and never nothing to ignore or miscalculate. The biggest transformation will always be Accelerator though. Hands down that guy has changed the most and for the better. On a side note, I still believe Touma is a level 5 Esper in disguise, but the imagine breaker stops that from happening... hell of a trade off and still great stuff. Touma needs the handicap to keep him grounded I think. Although, in many ways, Imagine Breaker is no handicap by any stretch of the word. Learning about the Imagine breaker more from your last time line video was extremely interesting and can't wait to hear more from the timeline videos.
How can academy city still got no money issue after all (property)damage caused by the espers. Every time (lv5)espers got involved, there always be something to get blown up. It's not like repairing damages cost no money. Especially in city with many expensive high-tech properties. Take misaka's case for example, how many electronic device got destroyed everytime she use her power? Security robot cost 1.2 million per unit. How many got "stun" everytime misaka accidentaly got short fuse. Or when she cause city blackout twice. Even facilities like hospital or traffic light got hit. How much damage and inconvenience she cause. Academy city should hire a lawyer to sue the level 5s.
If bro ever became a god of Guts, he better move his ass over to the Berserk universe and beat the shit out of all the god hand and that thing that may or may not be retconned. Give our man Guts a break and some peace and quiet.

i did some half-assed amateur thinking and correct me if I'm dead wrong with my freestyled theories...could it be that Aleister with his many plans within plans within plans, only needs 1 lvl 5 esper or a select few for his plans and keeps the others as backups? The first 4 have abilities, that seem to be a backup of each other. Accelerator who manipulates vectors and in turn, literally everything vs Kakine who can create his own matter (dark matter) and in turn control "everything" within his domain, as long as it is dark matter and indirectly other atoms that interact with it. Misaka and Mugino controlling electrons to a varying degree, Mugino being more niche with her ability. Now, I am no scientist, but I do know that the periodic table shows atoms with different sizes (number of protons, neutrons and electrons, electrons being the ones that are being added/substracted to get other atoms (obviously, the protons and neutrons amount has to increase accordingly, but electrons are - correct me if I'm wrong - the primary force for chemical reactions, they make chemical bonds, which also is the main source of forming molecules, which in turn circles back to what Accelerator and Kakine can do: Influencing the atoms and molecules around them, any kind of it. They seem to be able to replace each other in a case of loss of another. Misaki being able to control the conductive brain fluids/moisture (and **** SPOLER **** [moisture in general]) but she could maybe rewrite someone's personality and in turn personal reality? Is this too far-fetched? I mean **** SPOILER **** Takitsubo is speculated to be able to mess with someone's aim fields in a way that she can assign them another ability. Sogiita... well with his willpower, he seems to be able to do anything potentially. And the numerous espers being "stuck" at lvl 4 or their progress being halted but I feel like with cruelty, they can be froced to progress. I'm just rambling now... most esper powers is just telekinesis in a very specific way, including the ones above. Idk what Aleister wants, no one does, he probably wants multiple things.

Hi there. What an interesting video. To be honest, I have not ever figured out what Misaka's will or goal in life is. Does she want to have sex with Touma? Well, I wonder how that will work out while, at the same time, the Queen of England wants Lessar or Itsuwa or Kanzaki to have sex with him to create a major link between him and England. Also, while I was watching the Sisters Rc, I was not impressed with how Mugino went to go to protect those scientists, never questioning what their project was until after she fought Misaka. It's weird how she, Misaka, and Accelerator never figured out what the sisters were being used for. It makes them seem really gullible. If they have such a strong will, then why was it so easy to mislead them?

Plenty of adults in the real world listen to what scientists or doctors say and don't question a thing due to their expertise and experience, and yet sometimes the experts can be wrong, make mistakes, or have ulterior motives.
