Does anyone else here feel like one big part of the beauty in techno is that it avoids lyrics? The abscence of lyrics enables your mind to wander around much more freely. Especially lyrics about over dramatized love do feel so constricting to me.
This is a big debate. I can understand those who don't like when there is voice because I was in this case for more than 20 years and after I opened my mind to better understand the harmony that the voice creates in a music (I don't talk about the lyrics but about the harmony). it's true that the lyrics will guide your mind to interpret the music, which prevents the mind from really imagining what it wants, you summarized it well. but It have to admit that some music is better with nice vocals 🙂
@@BencTeoxaneProduction I see how vocals can add an other layer to a song if you neglect what is said but my mind is just unable to not listen to what the person is actually saying. Guess that comes from my background of listening to rap music.
