Sasha has always been my favourite and still is and I do agree, this outfit doesn't exactly scream 'Sasha', it is still a very cute outfit just not really something she'd wear in my opinion. I do really love the hairstyle though and I personally wouldn't change it, it also reminds me of some of my favourite looks of her from early 2000's movies where she also wore pigtails.
I’m not familiar with the older Sasha dolls, but I honestly love her. I love her braids in her hair, love her pants that are probably swishy sounding when they rub together. It’s very now for a lot of street fashion I have seen. I know it’s probably not how older fans see her or how she used to dress, but as a new Bratz fan and now Always Bratz I really like her and hope to have her one day hopefully. I haven’t seen her at all at Target or Walmart. I do wish the hair laid better, but I still really like her, but I respect your opinion of Bratz since you are more familiar with who Sasha is as a character.
Valid, I’m glad there are people that like her though!! Honestly as I stated in the video I don’t really have a problem with her outfit like that, it’s more so her hair I am not a big fan of. Her design could be cuter. I think her hair is rooted to bulky. And the neon pink is ugly idc. I would have taken an orange shade from her. They could have given her like a diesel type of shirt or dress with a puffy vest I wouldn’t have been mad. Imo they’re always shifting Sasha and now that they’re making new playline dolls they can’t just not have her in lines like they used to so they give us the bare minimum and it annoys me so much.
The pink and orange are a very good combination to be honest, both colors go well together But I would prefer to keep Sasha only using orange and BLUE as a reference to her first edition. Personally I would go with a different direction to Jade, I don’t get WHY they keep relating Jade to plaid fabric (2015 saying hello). It’s not bad, but it gives me regular girl vibes (and she’s the fashionista of the main core)
The outfit is all over the place and the levitating hairline was a choice 😮😅 I agree with the hair fiber cause it will look pretty on display but an actual child playing with this will have those twist looking crazy after a day.

Yeah I have to delete social media like Instagram frequently. Very toxic and can mess up your priorities just scrolling away for hours listening to nonsense. That’s why I said I don’t think anything I talked about in this video is “that deep” or “serious”. Overall I like the doll, I don’t really hate the clothes like that (it’s mainly the puffer jacket with everything that doesn’t work for me) she just felt out of place compared to everyone else. But after taking her hair down I saw her full potential and now I love her!! Also yes, no other Bratz dolls have ever had Baby hairs because back then things like Edges weren’t really trendy. Which is why you’ll find most Sasha’s have straight hair because ya know, beauty standards were different. So I’m excited to see what they will do in the future with her hair, I was very pleased with Yasmin’s hair type this time around!
i agree it feels like a bit less effort went into Sasha. :( imo the bright pink combined with the hairstyle gives her overall look a vibe that's more... juvenile? which is not bad inherently! but compared to the other 3 who have a much more "mature" kind of look it makes her stick out... which again isn't inherently bad but then you look at how her makeup is less dramatic on top of that all, and it just feels like they could have gave her more. i like her clothes and colorscheme it's very sunset-y, but you have a great point that MORE orange and LESS pink would have brought everything together a lot nicer! and either a different hair fiber or style as well. i still can't wait to get her though, i'm just definitely gonna do something different with her hair.

This is why I keep referring her to an LOL Surprise doll which as you said isn’t bad, but putting her next to everyone else feels so wrong…. Almost as if she wasn’t supposed to be in this line…. The other girls all have their own styles but it’s cohesive at the same time. Sasha feels literally feels childish. And the shades of pink they use also doesn’t help. I’m just upset because Sasha is actually a really pretty character and I find myself really enjoying a lot of her dolls, however, this doll really missed the mark for me, especially knowing her potential and when you consider that everyone else had amazing designs.

I think Sasha’s fits her character so well and Yasmin’s definitely pays homage to her boho/70s aesthetic she’s had throughout the span of the brand.

Girl I’m saying it in my accent, there is no ‘R’ but I said the same thing when Sasha first came out to PeachYReviews. I liked her at first because it gave Honeylicious vibes and Honey was my grail doll at one point. But then seeing her with the others really just ain’t it. The pink is too much (specifically the shade of pink) and yeah Idk if the rumors are true about the LOL Surprise designers working on Bratz… but if so it’s abundantly clear with Sasha.
Although Saran strands are a thicker fiber, I find that when rooting doll hair nylon tends to look really thick. A perfect example of this would be Alwayz Bratz Sasha‘s hair, but another example would be when the Bratz rock angels first repros came out (and the Nylon variants of 1st edition repros), people complained because MGA doesn’t normally do nylon on Bratz and you can’t just reroot original Bratz doll heads with nylon, using the exact same plug pattern because it looks bulky and can be too much. That’s my problem with Nylon on Bratz. It looks overall too thick (most of the time), the hair doesn’t look realistic like Saran does, and overall I tend to like the texture of Saran better because it feels real. (My cousin use to tell me when I was little that Bratz used real hair because it genuinely looked and felt like real hair and I believed her at the time lol) Also, in my personal experiences, I have a hard time styling nylon hair without any heat because it doesn’t behave the way I want it to (like won’t lay down right) whereas saran I have an easier time not using heat with doing more intricate hair styles. And it lays how I want it to.
