The 2023 Mazda CX-50 Is The Compact SUV Successor to the Mazda CX-5

Mazda CX-50 Review. Just like Mazda did when going from the CX-3 to the CX-30, the next-generation CX-5 becomes the CX-50. Expect the CX-5 to stick around for a few years though as a lower-cost, higher-margin alternative. The new Mazda CX-50 competes with the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, Volkswagen Tiguan, and others, just like the CX-5.

Huh, I didn't know that. That's bizarre! Feels like such a workaround. Mazda and Acura are tied for the worst infotainment right now. Touch screen or GTFO.

Hoping to get this one this next week. Mazda is advertising the CX-50 as a tow vehicle and as somewhat offroad capable. I'm excited to see if either of those claims are true. The AWD system has been capable in other Mazda's but they really lack ground clearance to be a true adventure vehicle.

Mazda dealership here sells them at msrp and comes with 10 year powerterain warranty along with roadside assistance for 10 years

I like CX-50 for its 3 unique features that are first for Mazda: panoramic moonroof (standard here in Canada), hood struts and the ability to mirror the gps directions from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the heads up display (Active Driving Display).
