Indus is not so talked about Ormonde Jayne perfume, but Damask is pretty popular, especially because of its similarities with Delina. Have you tried either one of them and what do you think of them? 🥰 P.S. Ormonde Jayne changed the bottle design so the 50 ml bottles I have and I've used in this video are now in a slightly different shape with a smaller cap, but in a bigger size (88 ml). Therefore, 50 ml bottles are sold (at least in my country) for a cheaper price because they will soon be replaced by new flacons. The scent is the same but maybe you can also find them for a cheaper price in those 50 ml bottle versions.
Hi Miri❤ Damask sounds absolutely delightful!! I like sweeter fragrances. I always love your scenarios. 😊 Six hours is acceptable for me. I wear several fragrances every day so six hours allows three different fragrances in a day. That makes me happy. Thank you for this review. Ormonde Jayne hasn’t been on my radar.
It wasn't on mine either, but I got a really good deal and I managed to get each Ormonde Jayne perfume for under 100 euros so I thought, why not? Let's make a review of them, especially since not a lot of people talk about them on YT. The price was cheaper probably because they're changing bottle design. Now those 50 ml bottles aren't available anymore, instead, you get an 88 ml bottle. Damask pleasantly surprised me. If you ever get a chance to try it out or buy a 10 ml travel size, I think you might like it. 😉😊🥰
I used to have Damask, i preferred it initially because it was more fruity and sweet. But after discovering Indus, i decided it was a more elegant and enjoyable wear. The Amber or something in Damask bothered me a bit, but Indus stays beautiful all the way through.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! 💗As you go through fragrances and your nose develops, I do think people will enjoy Indus much more than Damask which resembles other fragrances. I do find Indus more complex, but at the same time, it's likable enough for the majority of people to truly enjoy it. 🌺
Love Indus ❤️ Doesn't project as much but you will still smell it around you. It is indeed a sensual and lovely, plummy rose. It doesn't smell like POAL to me, as the cloves are prominent in that. Love that one too. But I do understand the comparison, as Indus to me has some similarity to Radical Rose from Matiere Premiere. And RR is often compared with POAL. Indus is different from Radical Rose for sure as the latter really has a full bodied red rose scent. I think RR uses saffron, but it has a rose incense effect. Perhaps that's why it smells similar to me. With Damask, there is something in the base, maybe amber or the metallic/mineral notes you mentioned, that is off putting. It wasn't apparent at first, but it has become very prominent over time. Or my nose 'has changed' I guess. A bit unfortunate as I do remember loving Damask at first. Very pretty fruity citrus jammy rose.
Damask definitely has that 'love at first sniff' quality, while Indus is a perfume I started to appreciate more over time. Thank you so much for such a descriptive comment. I'm sure it will be very helpful to others who watch this review. ❤
Thank you too for your review. Not many reviews on Ormonde Jayne and it's a shame as it's a good house. Definitely better to get samples if you can. Not a good idea to blind buy :)
@@boost-9689 Yes, it's a good perfume brand, but as I live in Croatia, there are no Ormonde Jayne stores or perfumes available at stores, samples are even harder to find so if I want to review them, I need to order them without testing them first online. And that is pricey. 🥲😭😭
I didn't have the chance to smell Ta'if yet. Ormonde Jayne has a lot of fragrances and mostly, I need to blind buy them to be able to review them and that costs a lot of money. Maybe in the future, I'll make that comparison video. Thank you for your comment. 🌺
@@Miri-s Yes, that DOES cost a lot of money. I'm going to order some samples from Scent Split and will include that one. Thanks, as always for your really informative vids.
I will write your request on my to-do list and I'll make it eventually, but currently, I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the new releases... I'll try to make it as soon as I get a breather. 😉☺

You're welcome. 😸😽
Indus is my fav, I have a backup, its the incense that just works for me. An absolute love.
That's great! Thanks for sharing your experience and wish you a great weekend! ;)

I love roses in perfumes. Your scents must be beautiful

@@Miri-s 🌹😁
Everyone's chemistry is different. I've adopted Damask as my signature scent. But I can't scrub Indus off my arm fast enough.
Aahahhaha, yeah, some fragrance work, some don't. But I'm glad Damask was a love for you. It's a beauty for sure. 💗
Thanks! I wonder how they both compare to Ta'if.

@@bodacioustness5054 You're really nice. ☺ Let me know what you think of Ta'if when you get a sample. 😉
@@Miri-s Will do
@@Miri-s Ta'if is GOR-GE-OUS! Highly recommend getting a sample. I'm going to try Indus and Levant.
Can you a video on good office perfumes please
