When this song came out in the mid-90s during my college days, it was an instant hit as Rehman's music was beginning to give serious takkar to Nadeem Shravan's. I wore my cassette out listening to Rangeela songs on my walkman. :-) Asha Bhonsle did a great job with Rangeela songs adapting herself to modern music.
