That time of year once again soon comes round
No kidding mate and it seems to last forever. It's like having Christmas presents and not being able to play with them lol
Hi Kev, I've just bought 4 sheets of 25mm polycarbonate 3mtr x 700mm and it's not bloody cheap, especially seeing as on top of that wood for frames and the fixings to hold it down, my heater is on timer so it doesn't come on at night only in day when it's warmer so it's a bit more efficient, without any covers it drops temperature between 0.6 and 1.3c and at moment it's at 17c, I'm planning on running at about 12c through winter maybe a bit more depending what power it uses, stay safe.
Rob.
Cheers Rob, Sorry just found your comments. Stay safe mate and I will pop round to see you when it warms up
I'm not covering this year just gunna see how they get on 👍
Cheers for watching. Heating is just an expensive extra and should only be done if you can afford it and have insulation and covers for maximum benefits
Nice one but hate this time of year my covers will be on as soon as we start getting frosts 👍👍💯💯
Thanks for watching and Good Luck with the weather
Hi I have a cloverleaf heater do I locate this after the UV and before the eazy pod
Andy
I think it all depends on your set up and where it allows you to install them. If you install it before things then you have to accept that they will warm those items up and the water will have lost a little temperature before returning to the pond. They will still work but may take a little longer or more cycles for the overall temperatures to rise
