The pills have crazy fast bearings and are softer to the touch, but because of that I find that sometimes it will fly out of my hand with the pills because the bearings are so fast. Maples so far have no free spin at all but they are really smooth. So it’s up to what your preference is
I swear on the kraken wheels, so much quality for that little money its just impressive… Use them clearly more then my ill pills and they cost nearly twice as much, so they are that kind of good…😅 But it seems that it’s a bit different to communicate with them when you came from germany, hope it’s better in the us and Canada (I mean they came just from Mexico, so from the more or less loved neighbors…😅🙈)…
Not sure. Our team rider stef got a pair of ill pills a year and a half ago and they had problems within a week :/ I've also heard tons of great things about ill pills from other people as well. Personally I think they're overpriced and would rather go with maple wheels. If you're gonna drop over 50 or even 60 on wheels go with oaks
@@orbitfb Here in Germany they cost both the same 55€ (in Germany every taxes allready included and € more or less the same like $) so I didn’t see the price difference on that point… So both are overpriced with that logic and I shouldn’t go with any of both… The ills are crazy good wheels, roll fast as f… directly from the beginning, no time to break in and grippy but only if you want to, so they are really good and worth the money when you compare it 1 vs 1… A real price difference on same level are here kraken wheels from Mexico, they are great and cost only 27,50€, so 2 sets of kraken or one set of ill pills or maple…

One set looks like a performance series compared to the bowl series.
yes the 2.0 looked more like a slim bowl compared to the 3.0 which is street style
