Yes Kansas City is much more affordable than many places especially if you live on the coast but KC does have their higher price point areas too.

I just moved here from NYC, not to mission hills but KCMO. I absolutely hate it. It's segregated and spread out. It's depressing if you don't know people here or aren't in a family. The drivers suck, the roads suck, the people are fake nice. I'm already planning my exit. And yes I know you are 90day.
