Nikola, great job on the video, great job on the interview. I've been following Cory since his first day on the PCT, and I saw more of his house, and heard a more complete story about the Marines on your interview than I have heard or seen since I started following his adventures. Good job. I wish you had asked him what he was doing for a living when he owned the house. Still Good job. What a beautiful country you live in. I'm ready to move.
@UC4DLytGAdFb-9ArE02HUHeQ There's a lucky girl out there just waiting to meet you and you are doing a great job. Keep up the good work. You're still our hero. I still did not get what you were doing for a living. I know you are retired military, but in the video you said you were working so hard to keep up your life style and the house. What did you do ? What was your profession then ?
Just came across your channel the other day and now I understand... You were also in the Marines :). I'm sure there are lots of people that were surprised about you being in the Marines but I'm not. Most people will stereo type Marines as a Rambo / John Wayne type but what most people dont realize is that the body building tough guy type doesn't always even make it through Boot Camp, let alone the FMF ("Fleet Marine Force", for those of you that dont know). There were about 90 guys in my platoon, when I went to basic. Only about half graduated, and they weren't all "jocks". It takes a special kind of person to make it thru Parris Island. You gotta be able to take a lot of BS and you gotta be the type that doesn't give up. I am 100% confident you'll accomplish everything you want. You are already doing it. Glad to have come across your channel. New Subscriber coming aboard :)
I was 5'8" and 135 lbs soaking wet when I stood on the yellow footprints. Thanks to chowhall choc. milk I graduated (honorman) at 140 lbs - one of the only ones to gain weight. Many years ago. I was either squad leader or guide throughout (and glad) - must have sucked for the other short guys at the little end. Irony: in 2004/5 while serving in Iraq I went from 165 to 185 lbs 😕. On the PCTs 2019 I went down to a very lean 155.
@@treebeardtheent2200 too funny!!! I was one of those “little guys”... 5’4” second youngest in the platoon. Arrived in PI 17 Feb less than 30 days from my 17th Birthday. Was actually the “House Mouse” if that term was still being used when you were in (I came home in 85). Went in 165lbs. Graduated 135lbs. Boot camp was tough just graduating let alone coming out Top Honor Man. Congrats and Semper Fi.
@@USMC-1833 what do you mean came home in 85? That's the year I went to bootcamp. I was on delayed entry a long time (PEBD was less than 30 days after my 17th birthday - and I grew about 3 inches during that summer of my 17th bday. Another 2" over a couple years after bootcamp. I really grew out of that 1st set of dress blues, and the second. My third set was quite different (no chevrons anymore 😉, but Corporal is still the best rank in the Corps imo) Oh yeah, we did have a house mouse, or two or three plus a scribe or two, a couple of artist privates and I don't even think I really knew their names even then. I later learned (after boot camp) that every squad leader suffered through a blanket party, but me. Half the platoon wanted to lay into me, but the other half stopped them. I was sure naive, but I must have done something right.
@@treebeardtheent2200 I went in 1982 and came home in 1985 with three more years of inactive reserve also what was called “3 in and 3” out. My brother went in two years before and did “4 in and 2 out”
@@USMC-1833 interesting. In '85 all enlistments were technically 8 years, but the typical 17 yo only sees the active duty commitment pretty much. Mine was 6 years on the Quality Enlistment Program, but it's too bad I didn't pick an MOS with a nice bonus (something I could really use now - not retired - I put in the milage, but short on the years)
Enjoyed this but was surprised that Little Bee was hardly part of conversation. Have not heard you speak much about her on other recent vids either...hope all is well betwen you two?
🎉 Great Interview! Love that you shared your happy laughter, your dreams and plans. It was awesome! We all long for that one special person - our own VIP 😊 You will have True love again!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Being a Marine was the last thing I ever would have thought Cory would be. From watching his beginning at the PCT and being out of water to his home robbery and his trip to Croatia being a Marine would have been my last choice.
I was one of those people that heard about “second Chance” I was also hiking the PCT. I got to meet him twice along the way, he has been my hero ever since!
Cory your so humble. I love the interview. I constantly reflect on so many mistakes I made in my life. I try to learn. from it, really that’s all you can do. Your the best! Enjoy all your videos

He is such a "badass Marine" lol, that he runs to Thailand to engage with a ho just when his newborn baby Brooklyn had just died. The poor baby was the result of a casual relationship with a woman. He has no honor, no shame, no job, he lives for puz and gluttony. Yeah such an "honorable" fucking Marine. I bet he was given a dishonorable discharge, or he was never in the Marines

Loved the interview with al these background information. Next time no music en less “ funny effects”, then it would be great.

Great interview. Too much music. Level too high. Was distracting.
Redo the video without the music and upload again. Really difficult to hear the interview with the music. Thanks again for the interview
