Pahang Crown Prince Tengku Hassanal calls for global solidarity with the youth @COP27

WATCH: His Royal Highness the Regent of Pahang, Crown Prince Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah was at the “Youth and Adaptation: Voices from the Global South @ Singapore Pavilion” event during the COP27 summit in Egypt on 10 November 2022.
HRH Tengku Hassanal was honoured by the Singapore’s Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and the Singapore Youth For Climate Action group to give the opening remarks.
“I am young, just like most of you who are listening in or in attendance today, and I have been blessed with the privilege of being born a Crown Prince,” he said, adding “it is our future which is at risk, and the climate crisis is the greatest challenge of our generation.”
Tengku Hassanal has dedicated efforts towards better protection of peatlands and forests in Pahang, making it his personal pledge to save the Malayan Tigers in Malaysia from extinction.
