Automate 2024 Video: Mitsubishi explains robot application in demo

Worldwide Fittings Inc. increased utilization rate from 70 to 90% or more in its first robot application, a CNC machine-tending robot, its first, with an expected return on investment of less than 24 months, said Patrick Varley, product marketing manager (mechatronics), Mitsubishi Electric Automation Inc. at Automate 2024 by A3, the Association for Advancing Automation, in Chicago, during the session, “How their first robot purchase enables a 70-year-old company with 11 facilities on 3 continents to profitably expand their domestic manufacturing.” In the short video, Varley explained what the robot does in the application.
