Me too. Had the privilege of seeing Kate live in Wellington, New Zealand, about a month before this Covid mess. Seems a long time ago now, but wow, the message, that is timeless and the courage shown in the song, that is greatness.

While this is one of the best lyrics of all time, UA-cam unfortunately laughs about me. They target me as self-employed, so I get these ads in which rich men tell me how to get richer by following “their tricks”. Even before and after this song that opposites exactly that. WTF? YT obviously doesn’t know that I am a self-employed artist. I don’t want to get rich, never wanted to. It’s so cynical from YT to even deliver these ads around the brilliant work of Kae. It highlights what is wrong with us as a species, and so does Kae. Thank you so much for your passion and telling us so many truths!

There's no "madness" in the world. Everything is as its ever been. If something seems mad to you its because you are unable to see the inherent order in it. Every generation the old say the youth is wild etc. Its a common thing to perceive the world you don't understand as 'mad' when in reality its neither sane/insane. Its all up to interpretation. Whats so insane about world powers dealing in influence? Seems normal to me.

At 2:04 as Kate is repeating the word "massacres" the video is of an armoured vehicle driving into a building and you might assume that it is police or military operation. In fact it is a Marvyn Heemeyer on a rampage in bulldozer that he armoured with layers of steel and concrete. He was angry with the authorities and demolished the town hall, the former mayor's house and other buildings in Granby, Colorado. Nobody was injured but Marvin shot himself to avoid capture.
