Isn't that just what people do though; spend to the edge of their means and beyond into to debt. They put themselves on a hamster wheel and just get to running, soon they can't stop without loosing everything.
    Well told, great story! Thanks!

Its a metaphor for life....... Oftentimes, people are conditioned to do nothing, even when conditions are harsh...... it takes a long long time before people finally decide and are brave enough to make a change.

That's a good way to see it, also I think it's about the life we waste grinding away. Really is sitting in a chair for years much different than most of the jobs people do?. When he finally stood up from the chair he was fired almost like saying, don't step out of line in life and follow along like everybody else and don't think independently or you will be fired from society.

@@Weareallimperfect well, if you think about it, the life it's designed and given to us, and sustained by God, the creator. Wether you believe it or not (yet), there's evidence for that. So in that case we are created for a purpose that is to glorify Him. And one of the ways we glorify God is by being happy, by having joy in all we do.

    • @Weareallimperfect

@@ionutneda6964 yes I see but also to glorify God we have to grow and growth is deeper, faster through suffering(sanctification) of ourselves. It's like when bad things happen to good people it's a lesson that we all need to do better as a whole. Happiness is good but fleeting the same as bad times don't last but it's in the bad times, are the greatest lessons.

    Super weird
    But my perception
That person is human, interviewer is destiny
His commitment and his loans are his trap
    Chair is the illusion
His mindset is trying to get out but traps never allow him to do, his mindset is voice of god
Destiny gives the path, traps and commitment never allow to chose the different path, we never follow our inner voice, ultimately we lose our lifetime and when we decide lot is lost

That's basically life. A hamster wheel. Same old same old. Basically the same work day over and over. Maybe some variation, but even in the variation, there is a pattern. Other points: Then you have people living at the edge of their means, then boom, fired. Spending too much time living to work and not working to live. Not taking care for your needs, not setting healthy boundaries with those close to you leads to trouble. You should set some $ aside for the future. Even when you think no one is watching...you could be wrong. People can get fired for dumb reasons. Sometimes quitting a job because it is boring and driving you mad, quietly and slowly, is a perfectly good reason. Don't sit around in a bad job just because it is the easiest thing to do.
