Did you win anything? I myself was able to one-life clear the game on Mania mode way after the contest was over, always felt the finalists must have been real masters at the game.
Who still remember their reaction the first time they played Thunder ForceV and got to this stage whit this epic music and then to top it you end up meeting the Fire Leo 4 Rynex (still not sure as to why you have to fight Rynex)
**major lore/story spoiler** the big bad of the series thus far managed to upload itself to RYNEX after the destruction of the final boss in TFIV, thus setting the stage for the Guardian going rogue in TFV.
ah this stage was the best, still gives me good vibes and still reminds me that if I can get passed rynex and stage 5 then I will one day fight chaos ascendant (sorry if I got the main baddies name wrong) and win. edit: i beat him and got the good ending, chaos no longer plauges me :)
Is this how Tsukumo originally composed the song? If that was the case, I guess it was just too ridiculously good for the game. Is this on one of his albums? Edit: I already found out, it's an arrangement from the album 'BROKEN THUNDER - project THUNDER FORCE VI - '.
actually this one sounds different than the Broken Thunder version, i think this one is from the Lost Technology Plus album (which in itself is rare as hell)
@@byonemesis The Galactic Feds should had done a a-la-Death Star attack to the position of Faust base and not let Roy and Carol do a solo sortie and prevented Thunder Force 5 *and* 6 events from happening. But at least Cene gave Guardian a stop.
@@byonemesis so my first idea was way better or they needed to do that attack after Jean and Sherry uncovered Orn Base and blasted away Cerberus from the universe to not let Khaos escape?

To know that, you should go back to the very first Thunder Force or see the fandom based from the japanese releases. It appears the Orn Empire was allied with the Galactic Federation. However, I think that the Orn Empire was born since there was some rogue Galactic Federation members who created Khaos, as hinted by the ending of Thunder Force 3. As of Faust (which will be known as Orn Faustin Thunder Force 6 as it assimilated the Orn Empire with itself), it was a 3rd party that intervened in the war between the Galactic Federation and the Orn Empire.

It also served its primary purpose as a vehicle to launch Gauntlet into space, break through the Judgment Sword blockade, and hotswap the cockpit into the Vambrace frame.

I might guess that its japanese name of that awesome music is 運命の鋼 (Unmei no Hagane).

The Brigandine is purged at the end of the mission if it manages to last that long.
I JUST noticed that upon rewatching the video. lol. Dang, that's too bad. The last level always gives me a hard time thanks to the boss.
It’s available in the time attack though, not sure how to unlock it however, I beat hard mode, maybe that did it
You can't, sadly. You jettison the Brigandine if it survives the boss fight. I've only done it once.
