Those who cannot find the music icon : click on apps and it will show you “ more from Canva “ and under that you’d have “music” or “audio” option

How do you change the b/ground music of an IG REEL made in canva? there seems to be no music option on the left bar there.
Yes, you can, Kalyani! You'll just have to add an audio from the Audio tab on the side panel of the Editor. From there, feel free to trim or adjust its volume. Happy Designing! 🎨 ^mm

Are we allowed to use the stock videos from Canva in our UA-cam videos? Can't find any licensing agreement regarding UA-cam on your site. We have a Pro account and use Canva for all our thumbnails, but would like to start using more of your other features. Thanks

You're more than welcome to use all of the Pro and Free media in our library both for commercial and non-commercial purposes, as long as you add your own personal tweaks on the designs through our platform. Modifications can be as simple as playing around with different colors, putting on filters, inserting elements, or adding texts. If you're looking into using a stock image, just keep in mind that it shouldn't be used in such a way that the people or the person in the stock image would be put in a bad light or in any way that they might find offensive. What if you want the entire song to play?
Make the presentation longer I think, or like make the song faster
this is outdated-- canva changed it and no longer has "free" music filter option :(
Hey there! You can still filter out the audio from our library. Just click on the filter icon beside the search bar then go to Price and tick Free. Hope this helps! ^mm
@@canva Hi. Thank you, but I don't see what you're talking about. would include a screen shot if I could. There is absolutely no option to select free/non-pro audio (or elements/templates, etc.) There is no scroll on the filters. It has one or two options depending on which one I'm in (audio, template, etc) is does not have any option for pricing.

Im using a premiere account but after I download my video with a kids song, this comes up and nothing happens "Download will be available after processing is complete" Do you know why? Thanks.
The only icons I have on the side panel are design, elements, text, brand, uploads, draw, properties and apps. No music icon. Is it an added app?

In order to avoid copyright claims on UA-cam, make sure you connect your Canva accounts with the UA-cam integration.
In the Canva editor, head over the "More" button in the left side panel, click on the UA-cam logo and connect your UA-cam account.
This should prevent any further claims from Epidemic Sound.

Update: You can now decided where you audio tracks start and finish on your design.
Make sure to opt in the new Video Beta by heading over the video icon on the Canva homepage (in the top banner) and choose a video template to start.

Good musical choice!
You can upload your own tracks to Canva by simply using the "Upload" button. As long as your track is in MP3 format, it should work.
Just be mindful of copyrights if you are using another artist's song.

Simple question here. Does the length of the video/template/project has to be of the same duration of the song in order to download the full song/track? In order words, is there a way how to download the full song and not only a small sequence? Thanks
That's what I want to know. Looks like a great idea on the surface, but why does Canva only allow for a snippet rather than the full length of the song? Disappointed!

How do you upload music to a presentation?
I somehow accidentally added music to the background of my video and I have no idea how to get rid of it, how do I do that?
Hi, I have a poster with a link embedded. But when I add a voice over (audio file), the link is no longer kickable. Can I have both - audio file to play at the same time, allowing people to kick on the link to jump to another place. many thanks.

when you add an audio file to your design, your final outcome is most likely changing to a video format (mp4). And links won't be clickable in that format.
Links will only work with websites, presentations or PDFs.

I don't have a music icon, I have an audio icon. In the audio icon, "availability-free" is not an option.

As of now, we do not have an export audio only feature, but a hack would be to download as an MP4 and make the video "invisible" by reducing its transparency to 0%.

I added an audio to my design and it shows up on preview, but once I download it somehow the audio disappears. How do I fix that issue?

Need help: I uploaded my images, added video with me speaking. Then I added background music track. I can't find a way to reduce the volume on just the background music. When I click on the volume icon and lower it, it lowers both?

Hi Melissa, thanks again for responding to my question. After a little more tinkering I found a work-around for the volume. When I dragged my music file in, I just simply lower the volume to the level I wanted and it worked!

yes it is possible if you use the new timeline feature.
Make sure to start a video document. The timeline will allow you to use multiple audio tracks and move them around your project.

Apparently all my audios on canva have crowns next to them. So i can't use them for a longer playing sound.I also don't have free in the filter box.

@@canva I've done that but I don't even have the filter icon. The purple bar says "Apply filters" and the box above "apply filters" has only three options which are vocals, effects and instrumentals.

Unfortunately, I don't have the music icon on my sidebar. I had to contact Canva to fix it. Imagine!
click on the 3 dots at the bottom of your sidebar (more) its in there
They only have limited songs. It has no christian songs as an option

2. Drag the colored section along the sound bar.

@@canva I fixed this issue by going back to home then clicking on the project again. This was I was able to adjust the length of the video rather than be forced to do 5 seconds, there is a glitch in your website
