jimbob no it's count 1,2, and then three where the bar goes, and if you have a tall scaffold over 10 foot it's 1,2,3,then 4 where the bar goes then handrails then boards or metal pans then hand rails and knee rails, toe boards etc.
Poor! Both guys let the standards go. (they could fall at any time) the one closest to the screen forgot to open the cups to place the 1.3 transom in. All cuplock components were not in reachable distance. if that is a professional way to install cuplock god help the people who have done it that way. They made it look so hard.
Am I missing something or did they not use a torpedo to level it? Also, go 3 cups up and place a hor on the 4th. This is different scaffold than what I do so I guess it's right?????
Since it’s concrete they just preset the jacks to the same height assuming concrete is level everything should be level also some places rules double wrap scaffold when beginning
dont know what country this is filmed in but... no handrail, brace, access or fully decked health and safety would have a field day on this and thats after they are done going over the ppe matter.
Honestly this video is a disgrace they should have put the jack down and then the 5' bar and the 3' bar (sizes just guessing) next to the jack. Then put the leg on the jack and put both bars in the bottom cup and close it so it supports its self and you can keep building from there. The way how they set that up could have probably fell over on to some expensive equipment or could have hit a valve the made a gas leak depending on where you're working. Try again guys. Not this time.
Next time use ten ft material 10ft legs will not stand on its own. One should of been building the other passing the materials

Every 4 cups is where the strength is.
You have to have bars every 6’6” which is equivalent to 4 cups. My advice...report this video and never watch it again.
