Hi jen. Quick favor, please. Since none of those pencils are labeled as Vermilion, which one in your opinion could serve as a red orange? You know, like a Vermilion! Thanks in advance! 🥰
Watching this already recorded. Just came in from a long walk outdoors. Otherwise staying cooped up. Can't color today...strange. Read a book....reading another and watched one movie and now watching you. Cannot wait to see you activate all the swatches tonight
Really enjoying this process, and so very much appreciate the effort that you guys are putting in. I love swatching as well. I have the full set of Albrecht Durer, and now really want the Magnus as well. It’s the cost that makes me hesitant, and even thought there is 40% more core, this isn’t reflected by the same amount in the cost - significantly higher. The increase cost could also be due to the fact that each pencil has the highest lightfastness rating. Just a heads up for your comparison. The Albrecht Durer are near permanent, cannot be erased or completely reactivated once dry. I have found that the reactivation is not as good as the other watercolour pencils, but not as permanent as Inktense. Might be worth doing some research - there is reference to this on the Faber Castell USA site but NOT in the product description PDF. Maybe I haven’t understood something. Worth checking. Ramo Thanks, just like the idea of quick lay down for large areas and the colours are some of my favourite. Looking at this as a better option for buying replacement pencil rather then open stock. Some of my Polychromos in these colours are getting low as well so this may be a solution. Just like pencils 👍👍

Unfortunately I won’t be ready to activate them tonight. I still have a bunch more to color.
Do they sell the albrech durer magnus in open stock (for reestocking ) ? They are very interesting for their superior lightfastness...
105? I have nearly all the Albrecht Durer pencils and I dont see 105. Are you sure it isnt 104 Yellow Glaze?

The Magnus pencils don't come in any colors that aren't in the Albrecht Dürer range so don't feel like you need to own them!

will you be testing the Prismacolor watercolor pencils?
I use a Bostich electric sharpener with different size holes and it works great for Faber Castell.
I really wish you would have said the colors because i know these by name mostly. Some of the numbers I do remember.
