I believe your inconsistent FPS is because the rambase o-ring looked visibly loose, letting the metal PT leak air out the back. Def try putting the barrel in and blowing to check the plunger seal, rambase seal, and lastly the pusher o-ring seal as well. You can easily push 230 with a good to perfect seal on this thing! Nice vid man!
@godeatsbagels The replacement metal plunger tube barrel also came with replacement O-rings that were made specifically for that upgrade. With a Silverfox K25 talonclaw spring and 45cm barrel (mostly the same parts Walcom used in his own mod), alongside the barrel collet and the metal plunger tube (with the new O rings) I was hitting around 250 FPS. I have a good feeling that he never added the new O-rings to the blaster, which might have been causing his problem.
I've watched a bunch of these upgrade videos now and I wish I had a chrono cause I wonder what my upgrades have done. I bought two longshots on sale. One with a good plunger tube but shit seal, and the other with a good seal, but cracked tube (the cracked one looked to be thinner than the good one). I used the springs from both, doubled up, the good plunger tube, a fair ammount of lube, and a replacement o-ring on the barrel side of the plunger and the bolt. I now have a plunger hang time of more than 6 seconds. I've kept the original barrel and I'm ordering a worker scar since I've read that they fit. I can hear the difference in performance but again, i wish i had a chrono lol.
Nothing about the plunger rod o-ring? Thats a huge source of failure as the plunger rod pulls back, the o-ring rubs against the dart and gets pulled off the plunger rod. Then you don't have a seal when you push the plunger rod forward and your shots flub.
Re-check your barrel. I saw another guy do the same thing. Fully upgraded it and was only hitting like 150-170. Realized it was the seal on the barrel with that adjustable collet system and after replacing the barrel for a second time, with no additional upgrades, he was hitting 230-250
I don't know the exact length of my barrel but it just goes past the same collet setup with a k25 cut to stock length I was hitting just under 200 fps.
I found a pusher 3D model on Thingiverse, but I don't do 3D printing myself. Still scouring the interwebs for other options xD At $60, it essentially turns this into a $90 blaster... $100 if you do the Plunger Tube as well. For that kind of scratch, I could pick up a premium blaster.
You actually bough a kit from Drac? Oh, and thoughts on fps' I get 180-190 +/- SD with the stock barrel, and a stock x shot spring added in. I really cant's see the point on spending the money for these xtra bits. That said, good, comprehensive video. Got a like from em.
Id tell you about the frontline foam kit, but uhhhh 9 days since i ordered priority shipment, and hasnt shipped yet. So keep that in mind. Customer service is giving me the runaround, and i ordered all anodized aluminum parts for, and a suppressor scar. Almost 100 bucks and i dont know where it is.
Don’t worry. It’s coming. Our kits and barrels are made to order, and it seems like people are getting overall better performance than other kits on the market which aren’t full kits.
@FrontlineFoamBlasters i am very excited for this kit because as you said its everything, i love it. And already cut spring? Fugettabahtit! I just hope it comes soon, i figured id get a reply this way that wasnt automatic. Thank you, an email was sent friday asking for an update from this very account. Thank you for your comment, i appreciate it

I'm about to do the same, already changed the spring, but waiting on my new barrel, plunger tube, and barrel collet. Edit: I'm looking to keep mine as stock as possible, or at least looking that way
@MrGimbles1 I had the same issue with the silverfox polycarbonate tube. It's not 100% but I got it to seal pretty good. Like you, I have a 45cm barrel and k25 and it averages 220fps no scar 200fps with worker plastic scar.
Teflon tape is my go to. It comes off easy, and does the job perfectly.

This is 100% what is happening
Damned right.
how do you get a better seal?
@@wildmangeorgesrcchannel6916 Teflon tape under the stock o-rings, or replace with better tighter fitting o-rings.

This blaster is AMAZING!!
Metal Plunger tube.
19 coils of K25
45 cm barrel.
280 to 300 FPS!!
Yup yup
Dang!!!!! I gotta get them Sabre longshot parts, nice vid as well !
Ty, and same lol

I do like that kit! Thank you for the video.

Yeah, I noticed it was a lil loose, OOD didn't send O rings with it.

@@kyang321 yeah, I switched the spring after to the one I originally used, and it's now at 200
Cheekrests are the best, they really finish the look
Yeah 👍
Has anyone found a reasonably priced aftermarket feeder mechanism for this blaster? I know that Saber has an all-metal one coming out, but it's $60...
Yeah that's the only one I've heard about so far

This is unfortunately typical of my experiences (and many others) with FF.

This wasn't from FF, however my first longshot mod was.

Your o-ring seals look very loose. Gotta be why its shooting so low and spiratic.
Yeah, I'm fixing them atm, using Teflon tape and a better o-ring
