In Spanish culture, I suppose, the main meaning in this story is the fear of darkness as simbol of the Nada. I live in Madrid, near a bar where Hemingway used to come. It's still well lit. ☺️

Good job. I like how you used his own theory as a lens to analyze his story.

The Lord’s Prayer is not a poem.

      Hi 🙂
Because of the context of the passage and the genre the Gospels fall into. They are written to communicate historical events.
And the context of the prayer involves the disciples simply asking Jesus to teach them to pray. And so Jesus responds with that model prayer.
      Hope this helps
      Blessings

Example for prayer by the Lord isn't a poem. Yet, it's beautiful as a poem.
