If you want to make this strategy viable for high mmr matches, mix scorpions in with the Fangs. Fangs deal with Wasps and Phoenix. Scorps deal with most of the Fang counters and Sandworm spam and help pad your point gain on wins
@@Ragnar452 scorps deal with badgers easily, vulcans are not usually good to be wasting money on, stormcallers are a bit of a problem but a little bit of anti-missile can be added to help with the issue.
Leave holes in your fang front line for fortresses with barrier to be added later. They can block flames and flame missiles, and with fang masses your opponent is unlikely to have built anything good against fortresses. Add mustangs with anti missile if they try and brute force fire missiles through the shields. Profit.
Oyoyoyoyoy! Fangs for checking out my replay! Also, I countered all the Fang counter units with more Fangs. Really, it's a flawless strategy. One thing you missed, was on the last round someone flanked me with crawlers, but someone else flanked the same spot with a Rhino drop, which meant they kinda canceled out. As for the MMR, I am around 500, and the highest in this match was 1,500. Also also, I'm actually part of the 3% female audience, or whatever tiny fraction it is. I don't mind the mistake, there are no girls on the internet after all, but it's a fun fact nonetheless. I got into Mechabellum like 2 days ago because of you, so I can only thank your teachings for this strategy. Well, you and Movang, who I've already thanked on Discord for teaching us his Maneuver.
@@IIIJG52 Yeah, I was worried about the AI hard-countering me in the early game with fire. I mean, to be fair, they totally did that, but the shields sorta helped a bit. I also didn't go into range first because just putting the fangs right at the front brings them in range of most AI stuff anyway.
@@IIIJG52 You would have a better idea than I do, although I wasn't thinking about ground fire, only Vulcan and Badger fire, as the AI seems to love using both. Mainly I was hoping the extra staying power would help me get through the AI chaff, as I had nothing to clear it any significant amount faster with. In hindsight, I suspect going ignite first would have been better, but I think the shields first option was pretty funny. It did mean things like the numerous Arclights did nothing, as well as making the Sledge/Fang/Mustang groups almost useless. Nothing could have prepared me for the rank 5 multi-Hacker though.
Im so glad you got featured in a MB trailer, Mr Oyoyoy guy! XD When you said that you would play Mechanical Man: I got you bro, i put on the C&C soundtrack in the background of this video. It worked quite nicely. You and Grubby are my fav MB casters. The others are too serious and boring. Great cast as always! Oy!
'I'm gonna spoil it in the title because it just makes for hilarious titles, they just read so funny' Me, reading the title with a completely blank face... hilarious.
Hey Cob, your oyoyoyoyoi went straight to my everyday expression memory. I even infected my wife and some of my Magic playgroup with it. Loving your vids, and you have a great voice!
yknow ive always thought that buying tech early is bad as it can limit the amount of units you can buy.. but depending on what your going for it can be the best move you can make. Tech = more kills. which = more XP for higher ranked units earlier.
Just tested it...guys put 3-4 vulcans with fire rockets , all fangs are dead. I move them right-left , sneak them , they just face 1 more vulcan in corners. No chance
I like how you recommended watching a playthrough of soma rather then play it lmao But yes its one of my favorite games ever and I constantly tell my friends about it
So one unit is over 4 times stronger per resource spent than any other unit in the game because the developers can't do simple math and realize their stats are too high and are overpowered in mass. I'm sure this won't be an absolute mess of a game and a complete waste of time.
Yeah could say the units you are talking about. Raw damage and health is not the only things to consider. Move speed, range and also techs are supper important. If you talked about fangs then vulcans with incidery bombs completly counter any swarm of fangs.
Conviently ignoring round 4, where 2 vulcans eliminated more than there cost in double teched fangs and didn't even have there paint scratched. Also, can't wait until you hear about crawlers.

DUH! A group of Fangs is called a Maw!
I agree.
My friend and I always call it the Fang Gang.
Hey guys look! The "OyOyOyOyOy" guy made another video!
This is my life now I guess 😂
@@CobStrategy Could be worse, you could be Josh Strife Hayes. He is the "Second monitor guy" both on the internet and IRL.

What if opponent goes with vulkans or firebadges and tanky stuff for scorpions? Or even fire storm callers.
Technically, siege mode Scorpions can match stormcallee range.

The round 2 Shields actually made me gasp. Its so expensive these days, not like the 350 or so when i started :D

Oyoyoyoyoy! A girl gamer playing RTS games? What timeline is this? :D
GG Liara!
You did that pro chad strategy of Starcraft called "mass marines". XD
Oyoyoyoyoi is all you really need.
Imperial Guard tactics.
yeah ive been running this build in FFA for several months, when I created it I hadn't seen anyone do it before!
OyOyOyOybrak back at it again
Oh god 😂
For infantry style units, a massive amount of them would be called a Legion.
Love to see those mono unit builds to work. But seriously, this guy/gal had a ton of luck!
Low MMR is a zoo. And We're the animals. XD
stormcallers with fire and they're gone before shooting once
They the enemy could have destroyed this army extremely easily
It’s a “Maw of Fangs”

Oj oj oj! - Hello from Sweden
Nice job
The only thing that beats the Fang bang is storm callers with flames.. even Vulcans die
A smile of fangs.
Not paying for temp range, the audacity :')
Hahaha oyoyoyoyoiiii thats so good
It was really hard to watch till round6
OYOYOYOYOYOY!
works great if your opponents are literally braindead. 3 vulcans with bomb tech and it's just WORTHLESS, your whole army is chaff and has low range.
9:48 i would say pack

Fire totally destroy this strat. Stormcallers + Fire or Vulcans with Incendiary (+oil) or Badgers with Napalm.
