PDSTRN: just Wow! Almost perfect. The rhythm was smooth, the bars were deeper than one could think. His finesse is just pleasant.

The Judges: You could tell MI/Ladipoe really enjoyed the whole process. Vector was a little laid back but his verdicts were spot on.

I haven't watched it till the end but just for bringing Fotzer back, I like the video. BarelyAnyHook was so good that I hoped he would have won. I felt his performance from the get-go. Even his first verse at the auditions about vampires was mad. But PDSTRN deserved it. The Lekki Massacre rap was on point

Respect to Barelyanyhook. Right from the day one of this competition, this two had always stood out. Respect
1. I’ll like to thank Hennessy for what they are doing for the culture... this is more than incredible.
2. Whoever brought up the idea for the first round (rapping on an already known beat) deserves a pay raise or something ALSO thumbs up for the WILDCARD (Fozter deserved it)
3. I’ll also like to say it’s a privilege to have experienced what BARELYANY HOOK did on M.I’s *safe* ‘cos that was not normal at all... WHAAAAAT!!!!
4. The level of commitment PDSTRN put in while delivering his verse on CROWN OF CLAY is what you call OPTIMAL RAP. That was crazy in the sense that he was able to deliver a perfect blend of flows, cadence and what have you while shedding the spotlight on past & present issues affecting the country today. WOW!!
NOTE: This decision could have gone either way and it would have been deserved. I’ld like to thank the judges for not letting preference take precedence in their decision making. I say this because it was clear that BARELYANY HOOK had more elements in his craft, he’s not just a rapper but he’s got good music theory also - I believe he’s gonna go places if he continues in this light BUT he got a little bit too cocky at the end and that arrogance paved a way for PDSTRN to claim the prize.
Kindly note that this is just my opinion and I’m not trying to argue with any other person’s point of view.
Barelyanyhook killed MI's safe. He is good at what he does.
I like how PDSTRN came back from choking on a previous season to taking the crown this time around.

I have been a core fan of Hennessy's Artistry from day one. I knew most peeps before their auditions, from back in the day of text rap battles on Facebook groups, 2go (Music-1 Room), Uni rap battles, etc. As for PDSTRN, he came a long way from choking during one of his entries in the past seasons to winning this one. BarelyAnyHook has been rapping his ass off from day one, and his pen game got way crazier (He gives me Tobe Nwigwe and Gambino mash-up vibe). At last, it was a better season than we expected. Never Stop, Never Settle.

Barelyanyhook won. Number 9 wasn't close in the 2nd round. It was supposed to be 3:0 in favour of number 2 in the 2nd round. M. I 2nd round call is questionable. Though number 9 is my guy, but 2 deserves to win.

There's this finesse and mastery about Barelyanyhook that captivates. Even MI fell for it from the first round. That was why he eased to the final without much problems. But PDSTRN deserves the win, he was faster, more fluid and barely had broken lines except during the tie breaker. Nice scenary.

I've seen Barelyanyhooks on a rap cypher before.. Dude is to good loose in a competition like this.. Even the guy he battled was digging his bars u can tell by the way he laughs while Bary was spitting, he knew he was finna loose that's why he was surprised when he was announced the winner...But I respect the judges decision by noticing how hard the winner was going back to back without chocking!!
Barely was obviously more talented but couldn't finish his verses on 2 occasions. You don't hold back in a final, you empty all your bullets. So no 9 was the deserved winner.
