I screamed a lot when i was bouldering and rock climbing 20 or so years ago when i was in better shape, now I'm almost 50! The negative holds were the worst for me, that and those ridiculously hard leg stretch moves while trying to hang onto a crappy pinch or whatever. But i had fun in those days, if i remember correctly i made it to an 8B+, with difficultly i might add, that and a ton of Adam Ondra screams. I wish i could still climb but i got pretty jacked up in a car accident, ended up with a plate in my face, broke arm in two places, broke L1 vertebrae, and 4 ribs cracked with one punctured my left side lung. Point is, i had my time with climbing and that's what matters.

It's so cool to see you guys all trying the same route and to see the effort/team work it took for them to get it done. Magnus you tend to make stuff look so effortless that its easy to forget just how hard everything really is! Plus, love to see all the support you all have for each other and the way you encourage each other even though its a competition. More videos like this please!

I've been watching way too much Adam Ondra... The most impressive thing about this video to me was how Magnus wasn't screaming bloody murder at the end of the route.
@@CityKanin Amazing feeling right...i'm suprised they say it's cold after getting out...usually i don't feel the cold (it's actually kinda warm) for some while (except maybe fingers)...but probably that due they got out the water too quick :)

This was my one of favourite videos on your channel Magnus! You’re a machine! Also fascinating cause you rarely show you’re pumped - great editing on the climb too. We have started doing the Wim Hof method, and that def helps with jumping into the icy cold! Also just bought a rope for lead climbing and called it Magnus 😁😂
Glad I started watching this channel after you hung out with Juji. Magnus made that climb look so easy and then you realize it's super difficult when all these other fit looking climbers can't make it.
This has quickly become one of my favorite UA-cam channels. For another challenge you should of all jumped in and see who could last the longest. (Might need more preparation and more warm towels, maybe a gas heater for when you get out) And anothe, set a camera up on a tripod and see who could swim out the furthest and then return.
I just recently started bouldering for my health and i fell instantly in love with the sport ! Great collab with some of my favourite UA-camrs.... would be nice to see you collaborate with nikken and emil again !
this is so good ive watched magnus's first climb multiple times lol so amazing and inspiring. im glad to have found something that makes me happy and entertained. past few yrs ive just had no pleasure with anything but now i want to rock climb and find active friends. much love, peace and blessings!
Great Video. Maybe you could play a little with color grading to make the color of the route more distinguishable. I sometimes wondered wethere you were cheating/not using available holds due to there being an orange and a pink route right next to it. (I am slightly color blind)
You can be proud of yourself, Magnus, it took 8 climbers to beat you ^^ You did it all alone to the top! But they did great too, especially the hardest part, when the body is totally "horizontal", you must feel all you weight in your arms, that's really hard!
