He did really well didn't he. OK, the Touring Car field was tiny, but as John Watson said, to come straight in and run at the same pace as Soper and Eaves was a great achievement.
@@olliebeck2952 yep the Safety Car didn't help the Peugeot's did it, where they'd not yet stopped. It certainly got Slight some good TV time scrapping with the Vauxhall's too didn't it🙂
@@olliebeck2952 he wasn't was he! Shame Aaron never won a Superbike title and tragic that Honda got rid of him at the end of 2000. As an aside, I think that this was the meeting where the war between Plato and Muller started, as it was quite civil prior to here.

@@davegiles2610 totally agree. Aaron was on for fourth before Bennett brought out the safety car. Beating his teammates in his first outing.
