Well, it's gross. It's kinda funny, but, imagine being this person's parents or siblings or relatives - and them knowing she's completely off the wall insane (and gross), and yet she refuses to get help or get better and spends all day wallowing in her own filth and eating it. From that perspective, it's sad and depressing. Also, all her neighbors want nothing to do with her and her habits and mental illness is creating a smelly and even dangerous biohazard that everyone else now has to deal with and avoid. The worst thing is that she actually does represent in many ways how most hoarders are. The show often 'cherry picks' hoarder cases that can be shown on TV, but the reality is that many hoarders are up to their ankles or knees in their own feces. You can look that up too, if you don't believe me.
This is the best thing to use from the comedy perspective because an audience wouldn't know if you're lying or not. It's great material to work off of. Im laughing with you Shane!
