That man not only get criticised but also couldn't even release his movies. But all that banning and criticism couldn't down his spirit even a slightest bit. Anurag Kashap movies- Black friday, Dev D, Gangs of wassepur, Ugly, No Smoking etc , No other Bollywood director has balls of steel that kashap has. He is the ultimate OG. Soojit Sicar is right up there with Kashap.
Anurag Kashyap is like Indian Quentin Tarantino, I have the utmost respect for this director. Also, I would have loved to see Hansel Mehta, Abhishek Kapoor, and Lijo Jose Pellissery on the list since the list is about new/current-age directors.
Pa Ranjith must be listed in this too. He is always bold and courageous to show downtrodden people with assertive and powerful to face the obstacles in society with energetic way to protect community who is living with fear and weaken.
I commend the brave Indian film directors who fearlessly explore societal issues like culture , caste systems, politics . Their dedication to depicting reality is praiseworthy, initiating important discussions and raising awareness. These directors play a crucial role in positively impacting society through the influential medium of cinema. Hats off to them for courageously challenging societal norms and pushing boundaries!

So, the audience doesn't directly realises that the director is roasting critics and hence, their projects do not have any possibility to be cancelled or controversial. Also, Sandeep probably is a extreme misogynist.
