Hello Mo & Sadie, all the preparations for the journey and gifts to enjoy. It is lovely for Ernest to be invited along, he is old enough now, but I think you and Sadie are the main attraction. It was so nice of the younger generation to go with. Janice just blends in with everything and everybody. He is always happy and so willing to assist. You have a dear friend Mo. It’s nice to see everyone again. Hi Sadie! Hi Mo! Ernest is soooo beautiful, so handsome! It’s sad that the young person gave you a nasty look at the beginning of this video who is sitting in the very back. I not happy with the electric cars either..the other week here in America, the person was driving a Tesla, it went on fire during the drive and it took the Fire Department 6000 gallons of water to extinguish the fire! That’s a lot of water for a car fire. But it went on fire by itself for whatever reason,🤷🏻♀️.

That whole charging process takes sooo long! Very inconvenient if you have to travel long distances. Just does not work well in Canadian countryside where there are no charging stations or they are too far between. Just fine for city or short commutes, I guess. Hope you enjoy a lovely weekend with your friends and new son. Having Olivia and Ernest along was very special🥰
I agree with Mo…..I don’t trust them either… actually, I don’t trust any car at this point, because anything can happen. And more than that, I don’t trust most drivers because they don’t pay enough attention on the road. Where I live, there is one person that has a Tesla and it is plugged in every night from a cord that is out her window. Strange to see in New England.
That's crazy I don't like the idea of having to stop for an hour and a half.... I would not want my beautiful daughter to stop all alone at one of those charging stations... There is too many bad things happening in this world.... By the way how much do they charge you for that if you don't mind me asking?
Plus who mines the lithium for the batteries, children. Lithium is terrible for the environment.
@@JudithBisson yes you are right about that. I've made comments on another channel concerning that fact, and don't think my two cents worth was appreciated. But it's sad, but true, Judith.
They could have got there on one charge they said, it was only because they wanted to top up before arriving. It is not often you drive for 5 or 6 hours, in normal everyday life you charge overnight or locally.

What a journey, but worth the drive. All the Horses, Dogs and wide open spaces. Love it. I’m with you Mo Electric cars scare me too you would definitely have to plan your drive well in advance

I agree with Mo, l don't care for technology! I have a hard time visiting for a day l couldn't go for a weekend me and my husband are they only ones our horses and other pet's count on❤and besides l would miss them!

Do they have drive through car washes in France 🇫🇷
Petroleum car for long distance and a electric for commuter car only or your stopping to ,charge so plan to have a meal for an hour somewhere so plan where to stop when traveling. I hate tech too Mo when it is not convenient.

So annoying with all that waiting to recharge the cars. We used to learn that time is money. And all the different apps you have to use because it is not only one company that you charge from.
I agree with you Mo about the EVs at this point in time, they will improve over time.

I have to ask, what does a ev cost your way? Curios because they are outrageously expensive here in the states. Plus finding a place to charge & the time it takes to charge.
