100% with Jon on Haaland. Way I'd word it is some players get the amazing stats as a by-product of being so technically gifted or skilful, or maybe a better word, magic. Guys like Messi (R9, Ronaldinho etc beforehand), and now probably Mbappe. Haaland isn't this, his stats are his entire reputation. Outside of those finishes he's relatively anonymous and hardly the most talented footballer, often even looking a bit clunky outside the area. Also this is not even making a point, simply alerting to stats. But compare Man City last Premier league season to this, points, goals, goals against, chances created, chances conceded (all likely linked to possession/control with and without a relatively uninvolved guy like Haaland. Also Dortmund, including with and without Haaland in the team last season. Think you'd be extremely surprised by the results.
@@SundayLeagueInvestors like he has technical skills don’t get me wrong and we shouldn’t overlook how clutch he’s been in front of goal, but it’s hard to say a top striker in his position and system wouldn’t get 20-25+ goals
Good stuff. Glad you are back. Please don’t have Dan “the great shiller”, “the great narcissist”, or “the great ego” on. You mentioned lining up guests…. Hopefully not him. Thx
This should be a weekly podcast!!! mOARE
Don’t worry about not having topics. Just talk about what your grading, what you bought, this week in soccer, transfers. You all are great
Congrats on the engagement! Met you @ Santa Clara. Podcast is very entertaining…….. 🤓
"Matthew Stanley? No but good guess" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 almost spit out my coffee glad that at least Jon knows ball.

You are much more eloquent than my point lol! Agreed completely tho
Good content.
In fairness to Jon, a Di Stefano rookie has never traded publicly, and if it did, it is 100% over $100K.
Mark my words, Simon Adingra will be the next stud for Brighton since he’s coming back from his loan at USG
Aloha gang! What's gonna happen with Messi in Miami next year regarding value of his earlier cards and upcoming cards?
I couldn’t agree more. Haaland doesn’t create his own shot and disappears when he’s not getting service. He can get there but he’s not Mbappe
Jon loves this

Love Bernardo Silva

next podcast: Messi to Miami
Davies has been ass for 2 years and I’m a Bayern fan anyone that says Davies is still world class is crazy
haaland está sobrevaloradísimo para lo tronco que es, me parece penoso que cartas de messi superen las ventas de cartas icónicas de messi
