Sorry to hear that, when I went to school I was bullied and getting my butt kicked by 4 to 5 kids at a time until my 4rd grade. Then after I leaned hand to hand combat with my Special Forces Uncle in the Summer. Then in my 4th grade I started to break arms and busting noses when those older kids tried to hurt me and my friends. It worked out very well, then when I hit JR High and High school and no one wanted to mess with me. I never teased anyone or disrespected other kids, I always protected the bulled. I would only hang out with my small group of close friends. The training I received from my uncle worked well after I served in the military. Back in those days you also had to learn how to prevent from getting stabbed in 7 to 12 grade schools or after school on a daily basis. A number of my School books were Stabbed (Teachers understood, they were always scared of the kids) and I only had a few cuts, but my friends and I survived. (Switch blades were being sold in our school areas)

I agree with you. I dont live in the USA so ouer schollsystem are different.
But here they really dont do enough about bullying.
I was hit so bad as a child that I ones threw up in school and bullied every day for years. Sometimes the bullying went into the realm of sexuall harasment. Horribel for a Young girl. I developed anorexia and came close to death by starvation and suicidattemts. We can not own guns in my country, the laws are MUCH stricter then in the USA. But If they were so easy to get a hold of as in the USA I would probebly be dead by suiccide with a gun. And to be honest I dont know if I would have tried to scare or even kill one or more of the bullies then when I was bullied so badly ( between the age of 9 and 14). They made my life a living hell so I was desperet. Guns should NEVER be easy to get a hold of.
Your gunlaws makes it so easy for trubbled or sick or evil people to just get a vapon and masacre children. I so hope that your laws Will change to prevent this from happening again. You americans must make a choice live with schoolshootings and as many guns as you like. Or no or almoast no schoolshootings and guns only for hunters and other people who needs them. For me thats not a hard choice…

@@DT-no2uk The guns don't just jump up into their hands & tell them who to fire on. We see the violence in Europe & Asia done without guns & none of it is often too pretty either. There is much more at play with the psychology of violence and the manner or tools used to act upon it. Violence has been around for many a millennia too. People are sometimes inherently sick & cruel with very little thought beyond their own selfishness. You'd think in a modern society we'd have learned by now.

they likely labeled him as gay... Every single day....
I'm not condoning what he did, it's horrendous
But everyone wants to know, how could he do this? Why?
everyone responds differently, some people crack
I was bullied as a kid...
For being short and having long hair....
      Stupid right?
I definitely got in fights over it....
They called me a little girl...
      and I would respond with
"How you gonna tell your dad you got your ass kicked by a little girl?"
I got beat up a couple times
So my "friends" would beat me up every weekend to "make me tough.... "
      Sounds stupid but
      It worked.... 🤣🤣🤣
I still have the long hair...
A few days ago a cashier at the local grocery store referred to me as a woman.....😲
Then he looked up and realized I was a man lol
      He apologized and was embarrassed
I laughed about it and said
"There was a time I would have whooped yo ass for that"
      EVERYONE laughed
I grew up in the 70's and 80's it was a different time
But the boomtown rats had a song called "I don't like Mondays"
So it's not anything new is my point

As a Psychology student, I was tasked to interview bullied people and let them open up of what's really going in their minds. It's scary! Deep dark thoughts that will give anyone goosebumps. And I thought, many are still strong to hold on and not act out their pain or else there will be a lot of this kind of shooting/killing all over the world. Getting bullied by your peers and your teachers is difficult, and the long term effects of being bullied thoughout your childhood doesn't just heal. Did I say teachers? That's correct. The bullying happens right under the teachers nose. After a while, it can feel like the teacher allows it to happen. It sounds like this 18 year old didn't get the help he needed to cope. So sad for everyone.

Yes, of course, he went to the school with the intent to kill. Also, he was cruel to animals which I heard about before from others interviewed. You can tell the people in the comments that who say "we all have been bullied" have never gotten bullied, lol. Being made fun of a few times happens to everyone, and that IS NOT bullying. Bullying is MUCH worse than being made fun of from time to time, bullying is being made fun of and psychologically tortured EVERYDAY, being pushed, punched, rejected, mistreated by teachers, constantly ridiculed and humiliated in front of others, etc.
It's usually 1 or 2 kids per classroom who get bullied, and some more serious than others. I was bullied and I know what it is. It's not "everyone", it was literally only me and when I learned to stand up for myself it was somebody else and I noticed it was only them as well, not "everyone".
Stop that "we've all been bullied" bullshit, because no, most people don't get genuinely bullied. Being teased from time to time is not getting bullied. You don't understand what being bullied is like. Probably some of you were either the bullies yourselves or the ones who laughed when someone was getting bullied. This is why this shit doesn't stop, because of people like you. Shame on all of you who say that to downplay the harm bullying causes to society.

People I’ve known that have been bullied, don’t go around wanting to shoot up schools and kill innocent people. I’m tired of people making that excuse cause no matter what happens to you, you should never make other people suffer the way you did or even worse. Especially kill innocent children.

@@vampireskyy2003 You didn't get my point at all. You keep ranting what average people who have never gone through bullying keep ranting. You are not doing a minimal effort to solve the actual problem.
What I meant is that not everyone is bullied, it's a very small minority of people who actually get bullied. And of course not all of them go on a killing rampage, but some of them kill themselves, develop issues like BPD or depression, become drug addicts, isolate themselves, turn into aggressive people, become alcoholics, etc, etc. Not everyone is built the same, these shooters already had some sort of mental issue before bullying but bullying was the trigger to make that mental issue much worse and drive them insane. Oh, you think it's just a coincidence almost every school shooter and psychopath that has existed were all bullied or abused in some form? You seriously think that's a coincidence? Because for me it's pretty damn clear that's the root of the issue.
I can talk from experience, I got bullied, and I developed very negative personality traits, isolated myself, became aggressive and defensive, lost my charm, lost opportunities, got social anxiety, etc. You have no idea what bullying can do to a person. Even if not everyone becomes a criminal it's still pretty fucked up that people who were happy children have to become suffering adults, just because some dick bags decided to ruin their happiness and future.
We need people to understand that and educate their asshole kids to respect other kids. We also need institutions and teachers to stop ignoring them bullying, we need governments to allow teachers to step in and get physically involved if necessary when a child is getting bullied, or have cops in schools to stops these bullies if society thinks it's wrong teachers do it, also parents of children with mental issues who can afford it should pay more attention to their kids and invest on their mental health, and those who can't afford it there should be an option for them to. Raising a kid is not a one man job, it takes many people to raise kids correctly.
Hope that makes it clear and you change your view instead of repeating an obsolete basic argument that has never made sense at all, and more importantly has never solved the problem.

@@Papapapapa78 I 100% get what your saying and I can see how bullying can play a factor in people’s actions, but there is still is no excuse for what they did. Like you said, not every person who has been bullied goes on a killing spree, including me who has been bullied. So I see absolutely no excuse. I agree that bullying is a problem and it should be stopped, but I just lose all sympathy for someone who is bullied if they inflict their pain onto others and traumatize them. I don’t care if the guy got bullied because he killed innocent children who had nothing to do with his situation. Those parents can’t get their children back. Its more than just bullying for people who do stuff like that. I agree with some of the parts in your comment tho. This guy didn’t get bullied in school anyway, he bullied other people and killed animals. But whatever was happening at home definitely played a factor

@@vampireskyy2003 That's beyond the point, I agree with you that he's a monster and I don't feel empathy for him either, I'm simply reflecting on the root of the issue. This shooter was a pathological psychopath, add bullying, poverty and abuse and you are creating a monster. Not all psychopaths are murderers, but abused psychopaths usually are. I've read many biographies of serial killers and shooters and most of them have been abused in some way, it can't be just a coincidence.
Also, why do you say he bullied other people? Everyone who knew him including his neighbors say he got bullied. Yes, he killed animals, that's a common pattern among serial killers and mass murderers, they tend to attack the defenseless because they are opportunistic cowards. It's also society's fault for not sending his ass to prison for the animal killings.
I'm not excusing anything, these monsters can go to hell, I don't feel empathy for them, but my whole point is that society is also at fault for creating these monsters. There's no point in just saying "oh, that serial killer is a piece of shit" and not fixing the core issues that allow them to exist.

One of the boys friend spoke. The first thing out of his mouth was.. "I want to say he was not bullied, he tried to bully people & it didn't work so he would get mad and go to the park and pick on people, he loved hurting animals".
A grown family friend was interviewed and said.. that the he (shooter) was mad.. because he wasn't didn't graduate, flunk the 12th grade.. that he and his grandma got started arguing about it and he shot he.. the person being interviewed said.. the grandma IMMEDIATELY started screaming.. "HE SHOT ME, HE SHOT ME..
The GRANDMOTHER IS STILL ALIVE, BUT IN CRITICAL CONDITION.

THANK YOU!!! Everyone is just accepting how this man has all this information. Why were children calling him?? Made no sense. Yet the grandparents knew nothing. Then when asked if his life was very difficult “probably”. Umm, what?! He just said it was awful, had all this info, but couldn’t answer that? No. Not buying this. He either was fed some things to say or just did this on his own for attention. Even the reporters weren’t buying this. He kept saying “on the phone”. He never saw anything, he’s gossiping, came out at 5:46
He never spoke directly to anyone and everyone else just goes along with the bullying narrative like sheep.
