WOW 😲 WALKING UP MY "MEMORY HILL" 💼 🎓 🏫. Steve I walked up and down that "Gaqba Hill" for 5 yrs (65-69) as I attended what was then named "Naxxar Secondary/Technical School" on top of the hill with it's entrance/driveway facing the old mill. Yes a lot of "old" beautiful farmhouses going up GHAQBA HILL. Good arable land 🍇🍓 "Aunt Maria's house" sounded like an old typical Maltese 'farmhouse' Steve. Also, what a beautiful Naxxar church 😮. Anyhow, that was a LOVELY WALK and how I wish that I was with you for "memories sake" 😊 THANKS Steve 🚶🎥👏. Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺™️
Mary 🇦🇺🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️ wow Steve that was a very enjoyable walk, my heart ❤️ skip a beat when you walk past that little cemetery, my grandparents lived across the road in a very old farm house, part of it was boomed in the war, my mother was born there,,❤️don’t know how some people say Malta dirty, it looks so clean and that was a long walk, thanks so much Steve very well done,,❤️❤️🇲🇹❤️❤️👍👍👍🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
Its all dramas and politics here in Malta, 100s are intereted when you say bad things and nobody interested in the good parts ...sad times Mary !! I wish I had known I could have stopped !!
Indeed I have to write everything down now, the only problem is when I find scribbled bits of paper everywhere, and I can never decipher my own handwriting🤣🤣🤣 Great video as always.
I had to find a Map to find Naxxar, as I didn't remember where it was, though I may have come through in our Transfer busses to Mellieha, from the Airport? They didn't always use the same roads and we did - once became stuck when, possibly being rerouted from road repairs to absurd roads during driving to our holidays in "Our Park". At one time the buss simply couldn't pass a steep hump in a small town! Its bottom of the front hit the road and we couldn't pass it! But I was always impressed by our bus drivers ability to manage to come round in the small towns with parked cars all over! Once when visiting the "Ancient Temple", Illegal Parking finally blocked the road, so we had to call the Police and had to walk the last part to the Entrance. Finn. Denmark
Many pople use the bus to get around, Comfortable, affordable, and reliable, buses are an excellent way of travelling around the Maltese Islands. if you are not in a rush it can be good !! it can get busy and slow, hire car is always the better way but not necessary
@@EnglishmaninMalta Thank you so much for the information my friend. As an American I never like to rent a car in a foreign country. I like to save money and Malta is definitely on my bucket list. Gozo looks wonderful. What would you recommend is the gest city to stay in to easily get around? Thank you again and I am an avid follower of your channel. It's wonderful!
