Cracking is a common characteristic of concrete due to its properties. However, if there are multiple cracks that are significantly larger and deeper, then that might indicate underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Great question Lance! Tubular buildings are typically standard designed for storage use. Many people do turn them into living just as is but to get it engineered for residential living I recommend to get specific engineer plans for structure and foundation based on your architecture plans. From there, this tubular building can be designed and constructed for living.

Yes, get an architectural plan of the design of your home from an architect. This will let us understand how you plan to build your home. Will you hang lights, drywall, etc. From there, we can get that architect information and get specific engineer plans for your metal building that will meet local codes and will function with the architectural design. For your foundation, we highly recommend to get a soil test (geotech) so that a specific foundation plan gets designed according to your soils. Especially in DFW where we have a lot of foundation movement due to clay soils we have. This is the typical process of building which nowadays steps get skipped in order to try save money or rush the process or simply some don’t know.
