Thangaraj and Singh opposed David for mentioning North Indians as West Eurasians as that would mean Aryans are migrants. The next day they decided to mention that todays indians came from two different ethnic groups north Indian ancestors and south Indian ancestors."

So sorry for your experience!
On my solo trip in Tamil Nadu I effectively navigated my way through Coimbatore and Ooty because of the sheer kindness of the Tamil people. I communicated mostly in English, through gestures or simply uttered the names of the places. Offcourse, there were some bad experiences but it is the good ones that I vividly remember and will cherish for the rest of my life.

I said I don't know.
They asked me you know hindustan
I said I know republic of India
Then they said next time when you come here learn hindi.
I had a 500 rupee note with me. Taken it out and show to the back side of the note and said these many are official language of India as per the constitutional law
So next time when I come here you better learn any one of this language additionally
They threatened me they can stop me and send me back and put off my American Dream

This is happening more frequently even in Tamil Nadu airports. The other problem is announcements in Hindi and english on flights travelling within Tamil Nadu. What the hell does Kursi ke neeche mean to tamilian villager traveling from Coimbatore to Chennai?

People on the flight should ask the pilot and air hostess to play that "Kursee ke neeche" in Tamil. They should lodge a grievance with the company also..
We need to ask/buy what we want. We should not buy what they sell which is not needed.

I know hindi, but in mumbai airport i said hindi no..tamil..english..he asked sab tk?..i just smiled and left..same i irrated the mumbai to chennai airhostess..😂 no english only tamil..i do it all the time..its doesnt matter about indian flights..but they should have atleast one tamil speaking air hostess if they are flying to tamil nadu., they found it hard to explain since i was sitting in the emergency door..another tamil guy came as a translator..i told him i know 6 languages including hindi and gujarati..unga velaya parunga..tamil mattum therintha oruthar antha seat la iruntha avar enna pannuvaru..the flight is between mumbai and chennai..the Marathi, english and tamil is fine..they started introducing mega speaks hindi, dowel speak bengali, ankita speaks gujarati and we have another one who speaks malayalam..why the hell these we need need other language airhostess in chennai mumbai route..when air asia, malaysian airline, singapore airlines and scoot and srilankan airlines who announce in tamil..whats wrong with these uselss people.

ஆனால் அந்த மொழி தெரியாதது கேலிக்கோ அவமானத்திற்கோ உரியது அல்ல
தமிழ்நாட்டில் தமிழில்தான் பேசுவோம் வடநாட்டில் இருந்து தமிழ்நாட்டுக்கு வேலைக்கு வந்தா தமிழைப் படிச்சுட்டு வர சொல்.

I travelled all over the world with english.That's why i never go to north India. Even if i want to go abroad, i avoid mumbai snd delhi airport,prefer gulf airports to go abroad.That's why at paris tsmil travel agencies advice us not to travel by air india to go to Chennai.
