i'm guessing you're basing your opinion on how they act on stage? if you mean that, then yeah. i'd have to agree that they don't move about much. my opinion was based on the fact that they ///sound/// incredible live. they sounded very close to their recordings and this is coming from someone who has been listening to their records ever since their first album. i don't play any instruments (didn't excel in any at least) but by the sound of it, what they have to play is intricate sounding so to have that perfectly translated live is wonderful to hear so i'd understand if they're the sort who don't move about much due to concentration. they may not be insane on stage but their sound is sure as hell on point and the crowd's too busy going nuts to care what they're doing. i didn't really see them on stage much bc a) i'm short b) too busy jumping around. so yeah, not to say your opinion is completely invalid, but i was in the crowd and there's 2 mosh pits going on. there's no valid way to say they are shit live lol.

Seeing these guys live when they were supporting this record absolutely blew me away. This band is chock-full of premiere musicians who are tight as fuck... And this lead singer is a bona fide fucking rock star. His presence and top tier chops are the kind of experiences that origins of what eventually become cliches and tropes are based off of. It's been a decade or a little more, so they might have mellowed. Regardless, if you have an opportunity to see them live, don't miss it.
