I'm a bit confused. The installation can be either under the sink or faucet right? Not both? I'm considering to use the water filter, but not sure if it worth the hassle to ask permission from the landlord to drill the countertop...
Filter water intake plastic tube has protective plastic plug inserted, which not shown on video how to remove without breaking fragile plastic tube. Took me more than an hour to remove. Cuckoo customer service should provide either plastic tool to let lock go that plug or more clear additional instructions. I put 2 review on Amazon and home Depot but they removed it.
My protection plug looks nothing like the one shown in the video. I don't know what part belongs & what part doesn't & NOTHING wants to come off. Totally confused.

Hi Dewi! Correct, you can choose to hook your countertop water purifier to either the faucet or directly from the water supply under the sink.

vladislav Thank you, I’m having that same problem now. I’m “pressing on the red colette” and boom, nothing everything time.
I was lucky with second filter: I push hard the red ring in opposite direction of the plastic protection plug and pulled it off.

the hadest part was to figure how to remove the cap behind machine. pressing down the small red piece. not well explain in manual. thx youtube
