Agreed. It's very possibly my favorite game of all time even though it isn't technically a "game." Either way one of the best experiences ive had in quite a while, and proves to me that games have the potential to tell such beautiful stories, even if that potential might lay untapped in the modern game industry.
To be honest, it's the best experience I've had in the last three years. Yeah, life can be harsh; Enderal has been such a relief, an incredibly rich journey! It's like an Odyssey.
This song does a beautiful job of bringing together everyone's experiences through the game, as well as being a culmination of everyone's emotions at the end. Awesome job guys. Please bring us more of this. Please.
This song has like instruments representing each of the major characters in the game, as according to their individual themes: Cello - Tealor Arantheal (as in Consecration) Guitar - Jespar (as in Every Day like the Last) Piano - Calia (as in Two Souls) Other strings/drums - The Prophet (as in Prophet)
It's only been a few months since I finished Enderal and hearing this sent shivers down my spine incredibly fast. I wonder what might happen after some years pass and I hear this again Thank you SureAI for this amazing game you've created
It hits you every single time. I finished the game for the first time back when it first came out... in 2016, I think? And here I am in 2021, still filled with these indescribable emotions.
I think I've left like 6 or 7 comments on some of these songs, but I just keep coming back to these videos, this game really has just stuck to me. More so than anything else I have ever played or read, idk what exactly about it affected me so much but it's by far one of the best things I have touched
this soundtrack never fails to physically take my breath away, and bring me to another world, far different from our own. this is an absolutely incredible piece of music, and the composer ought to feel proud of himself for creating a piece that instills such emotion in any who hear it. it fits enderal better than words can describe. i love it. it's close to my heart and represents everything i felt at the end of the game. i hope marvin kopp works on the next instalment after tes6 comes out!
I would love to see a sequel to Enderal in which it's another age in the cycle, and the new civilization studies the Endraleans as the Endraleans did the Pyreans. Overall, Enderal was by far the best story driven game/mod I have ever played. Well done.
Enderal is itself a sequel to Nehrim which was a mod for Oblivion. It's in German but they're working to release it again in English after seeing Endreal's success. Personally, I would like to go to Qyra next as Elder Scrolls 6 will probably be in Hammerfell.
i think if SureAI would make a sequel they would stick to the ending in which player destroyed the beacon and would be about helping Calia/Jespar in their goal to warn Qyranian queen about the high ones.
I think that because Enderal came to an END, this is why Enderal is so good, made this impression. Sure I wish for another part but I don't want another part. I mean... they're finally free and now let them rest :)
Ive played this game so many times, once for every ending, and for every companion and I gotta say, every time the credits roll I have tears in my eyes. SureAI I love your work!
One of the best parts of making the Retrospectives is hearing all the different music over and over again. Hearing different techniques and little details you didn't hear before. Unfortunately, I don't recall ever getting to use this song and that bothers me to no end ;~;
Me too. There is something so poetic and beatiful about enderal and its ending that is hard to describe. But i have to admit that after the camera panned from my own grave and calia gave a hopeful speech about what to come and the credits rolled that several tears were shed from me ;)
Yes, it was like you didn't know whether it was a dream, a vision or a memory, or whether you were still playing as the Prophet or if it was someone else going to your grave. There was no explanation for that final scene, and there wasn't really a need for one. I think that's the definition of "poetic".
The emotion in the soundtrack to enderal touches the soul, it feels completely on another level to skyrim(in fact the whole game does), not to knock Jeremy Soule as his work is top notch, this is just prefered by me! I've only played 22 hours of enderal so far but I can say that I'm totally immersed in the game. The story is addictive and very well written, the characters are fun and interesting, the lore is rich and deep, the world is fascinating. I could go on. Thank you SureAI for making such a masterpiece and letting people play it for free. I will undoubtedly be donating after my venture in enderal is over, I should hope to see more in the future when elder scrolls 6 releases, I won't hesitate to purchase it!
This song is so good. I love the Enderal soundtrack, Kopp put real magic into these sounds. Watching the credits of a great game with this track made such an incredible aftermath! It really is true that the best things come out of people who have time to put all their love into what they do. Thanks SureAI!
to be honest, the game was too hard for me. i played on the lowest difficulty and found myself using godmode more than once. but the story... the story was a *masterpiece* from the first to the last second! and i cried! i cried from finishing a *videogame*! you could even make a movie and it would be perfect. now i only have the novel left until june. at least i can finally continue playing witcher for 2 months. the only thing that is left to say is THANK YOU! thank you so much for making this game guys! *you* are my heroes ;P may his light guide you too
I just finished the game a few days ago for the first time and the ending blew my mind. So many twists and turns, and it hit home in a way that few other games have for me. The score to this game is incredible and the story was excellent. I'll definitely be singing its praises to anyone who I think would like it, because hands down one of the best games I've played in terms of story and execution
It is absolutly the best song for credits in all video games, After the end u hear this piece and down to tears? every moment of ur playthrough starts rolling in ur head, cousing a blast of emotion. This game is the most epic and emotional adventure in my life so far and i gratefull for that
Just got the part in the game where the main story gives you 4 missions to do at once (with 3 fulfilling the 4th) having such a good time and this music piece symbolises everything (save the true direness of the "Prophet" music).
@@alva4722 sure, have fun! I mean you're (spoiler!) the Prophet- and a special one, as you retain full memory-foresight of the previous Cycle, as this is not your first playthrough. If you are just a fantasy of your now-dead real character, once you realize this, you basically gain reality bending powers. So you can grab a minigun and just blast through- in Elder Scrolls terms your character has CHIM, the power to bend reality at will. Go nuts! I have spawned and fought Black Myrads until I was level 60+ unstoppable god of war. It's also a totally valid ending!

It has been a year already? The memories make it seem like mere weeks, maybe months, but an entire year?
Such a unique experience...
but Enderal only came out last year, how did you play it years ago?
sammisomara Maybe they meant the prequel, Nehrim, as well, not just Enderal :)
Now I know this is a video game after I left my question on another thread.
Is "Enderal" a real name/word? In my head sounds as "end it all."
