It would depend on their gas consumption, work load and gas mixes as well as the dive profile, that is how long at each depth. Download any dive planning software and play with the mixes and times. You will be amazed at the different times depending on what gas you blow down on. With my experience in diving (former SEAL), up to 4 hours hang time. I was impressed with their making sure they videoed them checking gasses.
Many thanks to the videographer for showing the testing and planning for this difficult decent and decompression dive. The several gas switches from travel gas to bottom gas then to deco gas. Bot an easy dive. One mistake and you will join the many that died there. A great video!! Большое спасибо.
@Sijani So damn right u r. And what's more you don't even have to go through the hole at dahab. Without scuba equipment you simply train like Mr. Trubridge did as long as necessary and gradually (!!!) gain more retentiveness and respect for this strange surrounding you're visiting. I swear it's a completely different but beautiful world of tranquillity.
You risk getting decompression sickness. If you come up too quickly, excess nitrogen in your tissues can form bubbles (a bit like when you open a bottle of soda). The safety stop allows some more time for excess nitrogen in your body to dissipate and not bubble up when you surface.
Yes you are right on both accounts. Popular blends of Nitrox are EAN32 and EAN36 with the numbers being the percentage of oxygen in the mix. In breathing air Nitrogen is 78% but is reduced in Nitrox to 68% or 64%. 100% pure oxygen is toxic at around only 6m where it's partial pressure will exceed 1.6 bar (the critical limit). So the less oxygen in the mix the deeper you can go. Helium is less toxic and has little narcotic effect so it is used to decrease the Ni and O2 percentages.
No, you can't go below 34m on 32% Nitrox without it becoming toxic. It is most likely that trimix that is used at depth which contains helium. The Nitrox tank will be used only for decompression as the diver goes through safety stops above 34m.
@boobengarden666 there is a lot more to tech diving than overhead environments. if youre into underwater ecology, some really neat stuff can be seen even in open water, but at greater depths than air can allow
No it is not a stupid thing to go deep tech diving. What I like about diving deeper is; That is the only place nothing else is important No money, No future, No past, Only that very moment is important in your life That makes you happy because in that very breif moment for the first time in your life you do not think of any problem that happened or will happen tomorrow. All your focus is on the present. You are alone and at peace with yourself and surroundings. GREAT THING TO DO!!!
Technical diving may be a challange, but it really does suck all the fun out of diving. I'd rather be looking around enjoying myself than looking at my multiple dive computers counting tenths of seconds.
A safety stop is a stop at 5 meters for 3 minutes. You should have learnt this in your open water course. If your computer is telling you to do a safety stop it's probably a good idea to do it if you have enough air.
You hv a great point. Tech divers, in the interest of safety, are often too preoccupied with the technical aspects of the dive, taking away the true essence of diving. Neglect the tech aspects, and get carried away by the splendour....and you're in deep trouble.
You don't need a computer. Just a bottom timer, your dive charts and pre-planning. Computers can run out of batteries, break or fail in some other way. Even if you have a computer you should be doing dive plans and know your bottom time limits.
deep diving is quite expensive hobby, i would say, vr3 as well, but I prefer to find some money for additional computer - than have a problems with my health.
Why should you want to dive at 136 meters? And that to a sandy bottom? I don’t see any fun, just a trill if you will be save on the surface. Risks are much too high.
Someone who says that charts should be used primarly on this kind of dives have no clue of what they are talking about.... Thats what it seems to me. Of course every techdiver should have planned the dive before, have the deco stops written down, have emergency deco plan with him, and computer is doing a huge lump of job in there guys.... Sometimes you cant just think so fast about the actions you should take-the computer can!
k... recreational divers beware! Techdiver.... with the name techdiver you should be a little more aware of your surroundings. All of you should know that this is a tech dive, which is a mixed gas dive (helium, enriched air, and prob pure o2 for deco the last 20 ft.) safety stops, blah blah blah all go by the way side on a dive like this, Planning, and proper execution is key to making this dive safe. Computer is key, back up charts are mandatory if a computer fails. proper training is a must
Why are think that this is a fake ? Of course, operator have shoot us on 50 - 60 meters, when we are coming back from 136 meters... :)). I think you are not a technical diver, just a chatterer
Uhhhhhh no. If you are relying on a computer and "backup tables" for a dive like this, then you dont understand deco well enough to be doing this type of diving, and should probably go back to the classroom.
This is what i call HARD CORE diving....God bless you man...

Tank man! It's not a diver carrying tons of tanks, it's tanks carrying a human!
You guys are sharing a wonderful passion. Diver 4 life.

Cool! Congratulations. What did you see?

your selected music is just fantatic! It's a total and perfect match to the video! well-done!

@stussyboys unless you are wreck diving. but i do agree, at the blue hole here, theres nothing past 50 meters- the depth of the arch here.
Looks great and lookds like a lot of fun
and adventure... but i would rather stick with the recreational side of diving ^__^

@dpo142 what was your bottom time on 136m? and how long was your total deco phase?
at this level of diving, it's not even about the fishes.... YOU ARE THE FISH!!
Yuri doesn’t care for equipment he’s got big balls.
@IIPluto That's kind of messed up what you say. I don't see your uploaded videos of dangerous expeditions posted anywhere.
Does this hole called blue hole cause it's so deep and you can see only blue with only the sun light?
thanks a lot - Anna Kozlova shot us - I made just cuting and put music. :)). she is realy doing good video.
@boobengarden666 there is a lot more to tech diving than overhead environments. if youre into underwater ecology, some really neat stuff can be seen even in open water, but at greater depths than air can allow
Красотища )))
ive bother getting in and out with just one bottle never mind six. great dive
What was your surface interval and deco time? I love tech diving but hate deco stops expecially the ones that take hours.
what kind of effects do you feel at this depth?
while using all the correct gear and proper planning, do you still feel a lot of narc?
So what was there at 136 m deep?
how much deco time do they have to do?
No it is not a stupid thing to go deep tech diving.

that computer is the one that uses?
u guys are so cool
I really did not expect that the light at 136m is that bright.
How cold was it down there???
What was your bottom time?
@Ermftw This was a reply to someone who asked. Someone who probably didn't do the Basic PADI.
whats with all the oxygen tanks!!? do you really need that many for 136 meters?????
congratulations - bravo
props on the video!
Technical diving may be a challange, but it really does suck all the fun out of diving.
I'd rather be looking around enjoying myself than looking at my multiple dive computers counting tenths of seconds.
VR3, uwatec digital bottom 330 m, and suunto viper (in gauge mode)
ditto.... incredible ..... but the music ...???
vbmbm
The music : i pay you 2000 € for delete it please. For my life...!😂
every such dive is worth 2% of brand new rebreather. 50 dives == rebreather, which allows deep diving at a fraction of a cost. regards :-)
A safety stop is a stop at 5 meters for 3 minutes. You should have learnt this in your open water course. If your computer is telling you to do a safety stop it's probably a good idea to do it if you have enough air.
It's about a hundred metres outside of my comfort zone...
Perfect video...
You hv a great point. Tech divers, in the interest of safety, are often too preoccupied with the technical aspects of the dive, taking away the true essence of diving. Neglect the tech aspects, and get carried away by the splendour....and you're in deep trouble.
Cool vídeo bro
r0ck3tsm0k3: Sure! I am curious! What did you see there?
@kma0818 Whatever, that Yuri guy made it all the way to 90 meters and... oh wait, nevermind.
You don't need a computer. Just a bottom timer, your dive charts and pre-planning. Computers can run out of batteries, break or fail in some other way. Even if you have a computer you should be doing dive plans and know your bottom time limits.
Video says the dive trip takes "140 minutes", just FYI
WOW thats deep, i never even went 136 feet!!
No its an open circuit dive. He only got a twin in his back and 4 bailouts.
i was there!
Jesus, how can he even walk with all that weight. 6 tanks!
i had only one cylinder and i was barely holding my weight...this guy is nuts...
deep diving is quite expensive hobby, i would say, vr3 as well, but I prefer to find some money for additional computer - than have a problems with my health.
the weight of equipment is about 130 kg...

Curiosity kick in.
чистый кислород в конце?
PurCitron аргон бля )) на 6mswd отвешиваешься только на кислороде конечно.
u arent a diver u r a space ship. heheh
good dive, nice light i guess u used artificial light, didnt u?
We did 202 meters on Wreck "Yolanda" (Egypt) - is coming soon. )))
Some interesting music......? >.>
Ahh, i see. I've never gone diving anyways. lol
omfg how much tanks
There is no "full depth" in Blue Hole!!! Have you ever been there?
russian divers using a metric system - so it was 136. That was one of my first deep dive experience, that is whay I populate it in e-space. :)))),
@orthografe yes
the point is to get a massive adrenaline rush
wow many flask he got
@HugeDeek Maybe someone waiting for tank in the deep..... lol
@dpo142 firstly? lol
i don't care we are the best because practice makes perfect
LOL 1 tank is so heavy already, this guy is carrying 4?!
seen better & a lot safer. I hope they don't get hurt one of these days
Savo light 21 watt
For what they need computer?!?!?!
I never use a computer (except of doing fun dives).
I think a usual bottomtimer will do this job as well....
220 - exellent - welcome, what's stop you )))))
@WunderDoob 446 feet
Very soon..:):)
???
I'm sure you did. I hope my comment wasn't new information for any divers.
as usual - the same amont of tanks used on Yolanda dive.
I wish I could come with I am certified but not that certified.
Someone who says that charts should be used primarly on this kind of dives have no clue of what they are talking about.... Thats what it seems to me. that can't be good!!
sometimes you need more ... trust me
k... recreational divers beware!

andrecolares: LoL for sure.
so macho lol
vr3, 1700 usd. not that much for your life.
I can put all of you to shame! I can dive 3 meters in a swimming pool without scuba gear :)
@IIPluto Try to dive even on the same depth, but firstly, try to to take out a head from your ass...
NOTOX-C
Man
C computer
risky .....
Why are think that this is a fake ? Of course, operator have shoot us on 50 - 60 meters, when we are coming back from 136 meters... :)). I think you are not a technical diver, just a chatterer
it doesnt look like you know how to swim with feet on..
Uhhhhhh no. If you are relying on a computer and "backup tables" for a dive like this, then you dont understand deco well enough to be doing this type of diving, and should probably go back to the classroom.
overseasmedia: if he got the bottom he would be at china. kkkk
So what???????
lool
Bacaca88: VERY BORING
do some research.
