I used your video and replaced the stabilizer rods in my Samsung washing machine with the help of my daughter. Somethings were a little different but we figured them out. Thank you for the tip on taking pictures before taking things apart. That was a life saver. My washer works like a charm again. I am a single mom and you saved me a lot of money. ❤
I followed your instructions and installed the new shocks in about an hour in total. Working great now and now I know how to do this. I looked at five other videos and yours was the most accurate and helpful. Thank you!
Totally fixed my problem, Samsung repair guy said it would cost between $300 and $500 to fix the issue. I ordered the parts off Amazon for $50. I then followed the steps in your video! Thanks my friend
Thank you so much for this video! Our washer became unable to spin. We ordered the new suspension rods, & I followed your video step by step, & it runs perfectly now. $36 in parts, 30 minutes of my labor, & we’re back in action. With a family of 10, we needed our washer fixed quickly, & you helped make it happen. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this! My husband is a good handyman but not a washing machine repairman. He watched your video, ordered the part from Amazon, and then used your video as a guide. Washer is now working great. No more off balance. So thank you!!!
Good morning I'm from Miami dade and was having issues with my washer as u explained In the video. I ordered the parts from your link they came right away. I had my drill and followed your directions. My wife so happy now it really solved the banging problem and being off balance. I just wanna thank you and say I appreciate u and this video. Saved a ton of money doing it myself GOD BLESS... CMV ‼️
Yes, after replacing the shock absorbers (armsprings) of a Samsung washing machine, it is necessary to perform calibration. This will help bring the device up to speed with the new components and correctly recognize load balancing. To perform calibration, follow these steps: 1. Make sure the drum is empty. It is important that there is no laundry in the car. 2. Close the door. 3. Turn off the power. 4. Press and hold the Temp and Delay End button at the same time, return the power without releasing the button. 5. You will see the indicators light up, continue to press the buttons for 3 seconds. 6. The machine will then enter calibration mode. Wait for the process to complete (usually takes about 3 minutes) and the machine will turn off automatically. After calibration is completed, the device should work normally. If the problem persists, there may be a problem with the balance sensor, motor, or electronic control. In addition, the Samsung manual indicates that the Ub error may pop up if the drum is not loaded evenly. I advise you to make sure that the client loads laundry into the drum correctly. Hope this helps!
I did the repair. It was a lot simpler than I expected. I put a load of laundry in and it kept filling like to where it almost overflowed so I emptied it, drained the water and did a calibration but it still is over filling. Any ideas ??
@user-js5zf8xq1d Alternately: 1. Press POWER to turn on the washer. 2. Press and hold Temp. and Delay End simultaneously for 3 seconds. 3. Press START/PAUSE to start calibration. 4. The tub rotates clockwise for approximately 2 minutes. 5. When complete, “0” appears on the display, and the washer turns off automatically. Run Calibration Mode periodically for more accurate weight detection.
Just did this last night, everything went smooth thanks to your video. Those Amazon stabilizers work great. Washing clothes is now fun again. Thanks again
Great video and explanations!! I replaced mine tonight by myself, and it took about 25 minutes total watching your video and doing the work at the same time. Thank you!
Incredible video! I followed your guidance exactly and used the suggested springs to fix my washer. Samsung wanted $300 just for a diagnostic, which would not have been of much use anyway. I found the video on how to run the auto diagnostic in 30 sec. It's just a series of button presses. No local technician would touch the washer either. I decided to try the suspension replacement and now I have a washer running like new. Way cheaper and far less wasteful than getting a new washer. Thank you so much! ❤
Your instructions were simple, easy to follow and very informative with the video pauses to show specific things to be careful of or to watch out for. It took me about 25 minutes to knock this out and that was with a bathroom break. Seriously this saved me money and time and allowed me to have a teaching moment with my son. TYSM!!!
Thank you for this great video! My daughter and I replaced the suspension rods and your detailed instructions were awesome. The most difficult part was getting our suspension rods out - there was a lot of grease on them and they did not pop out as easily for us as they appear to in the video. The new ones were easy to install after that. Our machine is working great now! Washing clothes was ridiculous before, we couldn't even wash the tiniest load without it going off balance, refilling, etc. Thank you!
I watch this video (not my model) and your other video which is our model and combined the instruction form both to replace the suspension bars. Had the washer disconnected, moved, repaired, and reconnected in under an hour. Very, very helpful. Excellent Job! Used your link to find the correct replacement rods. Thank you, Sir.
Your instructions were exactly on point and made our DIY repair easier. We have the exact washer with the exact balance issues you described. I bought the rods (under $50) from your link, followed your video step by step and the washer is working as new again! I looked at several other instructional videos for this washer repair, and yours was by far the easiest to follow and understand. Thanks.
Just want to say thank you for this video! I watched this a couple of times and was able to replace the stabilizer rods in 30 minutes. Thank you and happy holidays.
If you replaced the rods and it is STILL bouncing too much, PLEASE consider this: The continuing problem is likely to be insufficient "sticky" silicone grease in the little doo-dads on the spring rods. Those need to be CHOCK-FULL of that grease, because the grease acts as a shock absorber, to dampen the oscillation of the spring. I got two sets of new rods, and (ultimately) found in both cases that there was not enough of that grease. Note- the "grease" is NOT to lubricate, like we usually think of grease- in contrast, it is to deaden, retard, or dampen the up-down movement of the rod, due to the natural action of the spring. Otherwise, the rods are contributing to the "underdamped" bouncing because there's no damper, or at beast, a too-weak damper. I am also months into this washer problem, and finally proved this was the root of our problem.
@@frankj3313 I used "Nyogel 767A Synthetic Damping Grease" from amzn. But I'm sad to now have to report that we still have the "off-balance" problem. It seems like everyone THINKS they have found it, but we all try everything that's recommended, and none of them work entirely. I balked at the "stick pins between the plastic things and the rods" solution but finally tried IT just a few days ago. It helps- SOMEWHAT. The thing that gets me is this: We all bought these machines, and they worked fine for 1-2 years with the parts that they had. Then they stopped working. HOW did they work BEFORE?
Thanks brother. I used this video and was able to change out the suspension rods no problem! I didn’t remove the rear metal panel and only unplugged two wires. The wire leading to the digital panel and the one leading to the back of the top plastic panel. A lot easier when you have an extra pair of hands. Just be careful when pulling the top up off the washer, (some connected wires and tubing). Overall, not too difficult!

Guys if it happens again remove them, insert a nail in the black rubber and make sure you slide it all the way down so the spring doesn’t have any play
They will never look damage, and in this model is hard to tell when they are bad sometimes when you push the drum and tub down in a bounce more than once that means the shocks are bad, but sometimes in this Samsung’s it doesn’t do it however, I’m going to leave you this link that way you see how it will bounce if they are bad. The only thing is that the link is from a whirlpool but it’s similar issue
We did this repair just this morning. Unfortunately, our washer is still getting out of balance. The banging isn't nearly as bad, but we're getting the unbalanced code. Any suggestions?
I changed the shocks 2x . This washer needs to be loaded extremely carefully to have equal weight on all sides. I usually have to wash every load 3x to get it to run without unbalancing . Do not purchase this!
This Samsung washer had a recall for 2021, 2022. I bought mine new in june 2021 and 2 yrs later its doing tge same thing it wont spin tge water out. I just heard about this recall and i am calling the appliance store where i bought my samsung washer and i will be telling them about that recall on these samsung washers and i will ask them why didnt they tell us about these recalls. None of the suspension rods looked damaged?
They will never look damage, and in this model is hard to tell when they are bad sometimes when you push the drum and tub down in a bounce more than once that means the shocks are bad, but sometimes in this Samsung’s it doesn’t do it however, I’m going to leave you this link that way you see how it will bounce if they are bad. The only thing is that the link is from a whirlpool but it’s similar issue

Thanks for the video i was able to fix the wifes washer
Great job! Glad My Video Helped, Thanks for Watching!
Changed the rods. Got the aftermarket versions. It still goes unbalanced. I will return these and get the OEM Samsung.
Can you put a video to show how to REMOVE the balance sensor?
We did this repair just this morning. Unfortunately, our washer is still getting out of balance. The banging isn't nearly as bad, but we're getting the unbalanced code. Any suggestions?
im having the same issue. Did you find a resolution?
I replaced mine but it’s still shaking ? What did I do wrong? Also my tube looks like my tube is not leveled.
Thanks! Save me $$
You are Very Welcome! Thank You Very Much for the Support! It is Very Much Appreciated!

You’re Welcome! I am glad to hear that My Video Helped you Fix your Samsung Washer. Thanks So Much for the Tip and Support It is Truly Appreciates!
Mine has no delay button. I replaced rods mo problem but still getting off balance
Tried replacing the rods and calibrated the drum and it still bangs around like crazy 😫
I have a lot of Samsung stuff. I like all if it. Appliance guy said stay away from their washing machines.
I changed the shocks 2x . This washer needs to be loaded extremely carefully to have equal weight on all sides. I usually have to wash every load 3x to get it to run without unbalancing . Do not purchase this!
100% agree
I did this and it's still shaking. What's next?
Literally replaced the suspension rods & it was back to the same error the next day.
There is no fix for this machine. It is a lemon. How do we force a recall?
you forgot to put grease on it!!! 😅
you forgot to use damping grease on the rods!!!!!!
I will tell them that i am calling samsung about their recall and they better refund me my money or they will give me a new washing machine or i will call my attorney to go after them for fraud.
Curious, what became of your situation? With the recall, any progress?
Any update?
