I’m going to say this, and then get back to my excitement for this EP. If you play on PC and you use MODS, then YES! The likelihood of the gameplay in this pack appealing to you is very slim. BUT for those of us who play on Console, this is SUPER EXCITING, because we don’t have the luxury of installing additional content to make the gameplay more enjoyable like Wicked Whims😅
I totally get what you're saying, but as a pc player, I am excited to clear up space! I currently have 3 mods I could potentially remove with this EP. And essentially, fewer mods to update when the game updates or we finally get fixes, lol

I'm not sure what to think about it. It just looks so similar to popular mods I already use (thinking of RP0 and WickedWhims)
Adding some info because I feel too many people didn't understand what the mods I mentioned are.
Whicked whims is obviously the most renowned mod and encompasses everything around s*x. Personally I use it only for storytelling (not kidding).
Then the other mod RP0 is around all that encompasses pregnancy, in a way the sims 4 will never do because it is too realistic for their game. When there is a rabbit hole and a censor bar in a machine (which I can understand) when a sim gives birth, i'm not sure how the sims team would like the way RP0 shows the WHOLE process of giving birth.
Not hating on a dlc not even out yet, that's dumb, but yet again, I feel like it's not gonna give a lot for us simmers :/
We'll see and I hope those of us that are sceptical can be proven wrong so we get a good dlc! (And not glitchy please...)

It’s a pack about romance. Not sure how much different you’d expect it to be from a romance mod. Obviously the themes are going to be similar.
If it reminds you of a mod then that means they’re doing something right.

it would be live for me at 10am thursday.(edit: there was a few people thinking we will get a height difference in or along with the pack because of how the shadows look(male shadow is taller than the female shadow, but tbh I think it's just the angle of the sun in game)
I’ve become so jaded with the past rollouts that it’s hard to get excited. It’s been the same story for a while now, the idea/concept is great, but the implementation is lacking, bugged, or both.
I hope it is truly a new kiss animation it looks very similar to the kiss animation before they woohoo in the shower. I am excited about this pack though will be nice to have more romance things for sims to do. I cant wait to see the trailer video also.
I realize I have swiftie levels of Easter egg brain rot and it's probably just a cool marketing shot but.... Pretty interesting the masculine sim's shadow is taller than the feminine sim's shadow, huh?

It‘s how shadows work. Different lengths depending on the light source.
Different heights is not possible with the current engine.
They would have to rework every single animation to fit every possible height difference. 🤷🏻♀️
@@voxnihili4960 oh I know. Height sliders are a thing the community has been asking for since the game's inception and the devs have made it clear they would make the entire game significantly harder to develop around. I doubt it's a thing we'll ever get. Just the brain rot acting up lol

It took me 3 hours to fix my game because it key crashing 😭and I have an insane amount of mods. I had to reinstall it and delete my current save file so I had to star my game over but now it works
