bar Crank hota he at sides of slab.u should calculate the exact cutting length of bar.This is top part of this length.u shouldn't ignore.

This calculations are OK....but when you going to buy a particular tonnage of steel for slab or any concrete structures , it won't be applicable.....You should have to calculate the wastage , moreover you have to consider the standard length of steel which available in market.
You can find out the self weight of slab as per this method of quantity calculations

This is thumb rule.. Jaisa ki video me phle hi bola h ki ye site pe steel mangwane ke liye formula h... Na ki cutting length... This is only estimate....clear cover and laps tab consider krte h jab cutting length ya bbs bnate ho😉
