I watched your reaction to the first 2 episodes of The Boys S4 and there's some things I wanna talk about (btw. there's a chance that you already know about at least some of them): 1. No, it wasn't Karl Urban's/Butcher's butthole lol It was a butthole of some model specifically hired by the creators for this role, if you can even call it like that lmao And by the way, the actress who plays Victoria Neuman - Claudia Doumit didn't know what picture she'd see, so her reaction was authentic. Like, you can see that she was trying to not burst out laughing lol And speaking of Claudia Doumit, you probably already know this (especially because there's more and more people talking about it) but she and Jack Quaid are dating in real life. 2. I'm really enjoying this season (even if I knew/know some things thanks to the leaks) and I believe most people are enjoying it too (especially because the audience viewership of S4 is already 21% higher than the viewership of S3) but there's some people complaining about it. However, from what I've seen a lot of them are right-wing/,,anti-woke" people saying that The Boys suddenly became ,,woke", ,,political" or whatever 'cause they somehow didn't realize that this show was making fun of them since S1 (they even started review bombing it) lmao But of course they're not the only type of people complaining about it. There's also the ones saying that S4 is too slow and boring (tho, a lot of them were only saying that about the first 3 episodes and they loved the 4th one and rightfully so 'cause it's amazing 😉) or having the actual criticisms and while I may not agree with most of them, they don't annoy me like the aforementioned ,,anti-woke" people's stupid opinions. Also, while I dunno how true it is 'cause I didn't start watching The Boys until late 2021, seemingly some people were also review bombing S2 (from what I've heard, it was because they didn't like the episodes coming out weekly instead of being released all at once like with S1) or complaining about the first 2 or 3 episodes being too slow. 3. I think I can already say this - the new Black Noir is played by the same guy who played him in the previous seasons (except the flashback scenes from S3 where he was played by Fritzy-Klevans Destine) - Nathan Mitchell. And by the way, the new Noir already became one of the favorite characters for many people, including myself 'cause he's hilarious lol 4. IMO it's kinda annoying to see how some people are saying that Frenchie ,,suddenly became gay" and/or that his relationship with Kimiko was ,,ruined" First, he's not gay but either bi or pan and it was hinted at or even outright shown multiple times before, for example in the flashbacks from S2 with him, Cherie and Jay (the one who died from overdose). Second, Kimiko already told Frenchie in S3 that he's like a family to her and he apparently didn't have any problems with it. 5. I was waiting for your reaction to the sauna scene lmao And by the way, during that scene, it was stated on the trivia on Prime Video's X-Ray (btw. I really recommend checking it out while watching The Boys or other shows from Prime Video 'cause it sometimes gives you things like not only the trivia but also some bonus videos) ,,Actor Rob Benedict wants us to remind everyone that he studied Shakespeare at Northwestern University. There is no contractual obligation for us to carry out this request. This is merely a kind gesture” lol 6. If you still don't know, Hughie's mom is played by Rosemarie DeWitt. 7. You very likely already know about this but Jared Padalecki is in talks with Eric Kripke to appear in S5. I'm not a Supernatural fan (every time I think about watching this series, I get scared of how many episodes it has) but I'm interested in who he'll potentially play. 8. If you haven't heard already, Ambrosius is voiced by Tilda Swinton which is one of the funniest cameos ever lmao And speaking of funny cameos, I also loved Will Ferrell appearing in the 2nd episode of S4 and I laugh every time I hear him saying ,,slinging yayo with gangbangers" or ,,Come back with me. To the suburbs" lol And by the way, there are some cameos from big celebrities being planned for S5. I already can't wait to see who they're gonna be 😁
Dude immediately after the episodes we went on the internet and went researching and were laughing so hard after discovering everything you listed. That sauna scene had me almost throwing up, I really had to hold it back at one point. 😂 we were having a ball too laughing at the fact that people are just now figuring out that The Boys has been making fun of them for years.
