@theHogSpawnBerserker Nah he has always been like this. You'd think someone with as many hours who have improved somewhat. But that's part of the charm, he is consistent. Videos every week. And picks every video.
Not to the end of the video yet but if Cane actually said that I have to wonder if he's been drinking. Not even one MAC title yet and he's still barely scraping by opponents. SMH.
@@DolFan316 There’s a reason why I always preferred Moonlightswami. I like him, but Cane says and does things that makes me roll my eyes way too often.
Yeah like if they win the MAC twice OR go on a very deep playoff run against actual Power 4 talent, I could see a justification for the school jumping the gun and pushing for joining the ACC (throw FSU or Clemson in the SEC because they're going there in a few years anyway) but as it stands, this team/school is nowhere near ready to be in a Power 4. As they stand right now, they'd be a middling team in the ACC and they'd be fighting Maryland and Northwestern at the bottom of the Big 10.
One of my biggest issues with NCAA 25 is the lack of rushing stats in sim. Somehow you can be a top 25 team in rushing averaging 120 rypg but irl that would be awful.
6:02 Xavier Leonard has been on ths team since Season 1 and this is the first time I can remember him making any sort of significant play. Good for him! 😊
28:05 I have 2 thoughts on leaving the MAC: 1) If you ever grow tired of facing MAC teams or disengaged, immediately move to a Power 5 conference. Keeping the series interesting over 100% realism sounds best to me, so make that change if you're ever feeling it. 2) If we're going the realism route, I think reaching any of these milestones warrants a move: blowing out a Power 5 team in a bowl game, winning the MAC championship, or recruiting a 5 star talent. Any of those (or other similar milestones) would make the move out of the MAC realistic to me. I'm sure you'll make the best decision with whatever you do because you've always thought out the direction of these series so well. Thanks for the great CFB content, Cane!
I just wanna give Edmond some more roses. Dude is already so good he’s gonna be a certified stud. I’ve been watching for him ever since that early game where he had multiple ints. He is ALWAYS around the ball. You got a great one in #7 cane.
If you leave the conference you could try moving to a stronger non power 4 conference to see how you fair. Also if you do move, I could see Buffalo fitting in either the AAC (you get Temple on the schedule every year and wouldn’t have to sacrifice a non conference game for it) or the ACC cause you got the instate rivalry with Syracuse (im not sure if it’s listed in the game as a rivalry)
also I know the ACC is a power 4 conference but if you do go right to a power 4 conference it should def be the ACC. I think you go big 10 if you dominate the ACC
Joel Treggs the big man version of Travis Hunter. As it relates to making the jump to B1G, I'll echo what some other comments allude to, you gotta earn the right to make the jump. Still have not beat a team from the B1G. Should you win the conference the next 2 years and make a CFP then it makes sense. I would say you should schedule some lower rated B1G schools as well for more exposure. I would argue you could double up on the games to get us to that next chapter quicker!
also random, i noticed the fans/crowd were in mostly all black. i wonder if that means buffalo has a blackout game then like some other teams do. i guess that’s the games you’re supposed to wear the all black unis and helmets.
I don't think changing conferences ought to be worried about until there are back to back dominant seasons and conference championship trophies in the schools trophy case.
When the time comes for you to leave the MAC, I’d love to see other teams move around too. Kind of like the modern-day conference realignment. Not sure what limitations CFB25 puts on it (minimum teams, etc), but would be cool to see what universe you create
Loved the video, great game and so excited to see those new recruits coming buffalo's way, you can tell the program is taking a step up in a really nice direction. you're on a run with the franchises love it
Meant to say this earlier but congrats on beating Halo 3 for the first time in your life Cane I also beat a game recently for the first time in my life being the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
An interesting potential move could be moving to AAC for a bit, as its a step up from the MAC which is bottom of the barrel. Could play there a couple years before going to the ACC or B10.
To be honest making the conference title game last year should set UB back 2 years before moving on to a P4 conference. imo, make the playoffs back to back seasons. Once you do that then move to a P4. At that point UB will be undeniable. My vote is for the B1G or ACC🤷🏾♂️
Interesting that the crowd was wearing all black this game instead of the usual blue. Wish there was a way to pick the crowd color or know the color before picking uniforms, as it would have been cool to make this game a blackout if we knew ahead of time the crowd would be in all black.
- The future does look bright, but it's *really* premature to start talking about moving up to the Big 10 or ACC, dude. You don't have a conference championship and you've beaten exactly one ranked opponent (Notre Dame) and one P4 team (Syracuse) in five years. I wouldn't plan on taking that step until you've won the MAC in fairly convincing fashion for a year or two. If you want to test yourself against B1G or ACC schools in non-conference play, though, I'll reiterate that it's probably smarter to schedule programs like Duke and Purdue rather than Clemson or Michigan; after all, the perennial contenders are always going to be a challenge, but if you can't hang with the middle of the pack, you have no business joining a stronger conference. - Colson's had two 3-INT games in four weeks. I don't know what you do with a guy like that, but you don't just start him and pretend like nothing is wrong. Might be time for Ray Elway to audition for the starting job; his accuracy ratings are comparable (he's worse than EJ at mid-range, but better short and deep), he's only a step or two slower, and he's got a very strong arm that still gives you the option of taking the top off the defense and going downfield to Staley and Trejo. Otherwise, there's always Eric Pacheco waiting in the wings; he's less effective as a downfield passer, but if all you're going to do is pound the rock, run options, and throw checkdowns, he's perfectly capable of taking over the offense as well. - Gonna miss Dingle when he's gone-- he's going to be a gem of a UDFA for some NFL team. - Camarda's discipline problems are a pain, but I think this game proved that he's too skilled to waste away on the bench. Once he came in, he was opening holes and throwing pancakes pretty consistently. Hopefully his penalty tendencies are somewhat less egregious now that the sliders have been adjusted to fit the new patch.
I'm so glad you and other commenters are setting Cane straight about this moving up business. Kallispell was far more ready and even they didn't do it until Season 5 or 6.
Putting in the positives. - The defense was on point even if they bent at times. Seven sacks is very impressive. - Leon Dingle is a beast. Nothing more to be said. - Colson was even decent in his own rights. Now the major cons are those 3 picks. That’s the second time and while I still think EJ is great. This is definitely concerning. Either consider the other QBs in store or practice hugs to get Colson to lessen out on those interceptions. Other than that. A good win. Let’s chill a bit on the move away from the MAC tho until the Bulls win a conference title.
You get alot of players with hyphenated names 😂 (and leave after 2 or 3 conf. championships leaving to a new conference cause a jump to the Big 10 would be brutal even after year 6)

He has to be doing it intentionally. There is no way with all his experience in football games that these picks are just simply "mistakes"
@@sweetdaddydee1314 yeah it's pretty crazy. like you have to try to throw those picks.

Imo with regards to moving out of conference, make the playoff a couple times or smth. Make Buffalo a brand P4 conferences would want
