- Today I try my hand at the terrifying task of modifying one of these dolls. A simple mod nonetheless. If you're curious about this process hopefully seeing a goober like myself complete it will bring you relief.

I bought a wig for my plush Chucky doll on Etsy. Now my Chucky doll looks more like the one in the movie. Great upgrade.
Looks 100 times better. I was finally able to get my hands on one (right in time too) and you have been very helpful. Definitely going to be doing the same thing. Now I just gotta somehow find someone selling better overalls/sweater!
Im looking for overalls as well. It’s hard and the nice ones are crazy expensive.

I would've kept it about an inch longer I feel like it's a bit too short but still the new wig looks good I like the color

I did the same thing to mine too, the wig he came with looked to funky 😂, I even added a voice box and cut the eyes to put a pair in , I love how mine came out, but definitely a pain in the butt to modify this guy 🤣

I love how it turned out. You did a great job. Although I keep hoping to find a video of someone showing how to cut the hair on these dolls. I've screwed up the hair on mine twice trying to cut it. Never turned out right for me.
Awesome video and thanks for the links. I have a Patchwork Chucky (Bride of Chucky) and the hair is so dried out it that pieces come out when you touch it. I'll order the wig and glue and get busy in the new year.

I bought the same wig but the finish result doesn't look good as yours, did you cut the wig up a bit? Mine still looked long, any tutorial on how to cut it accurately

Thx for the video! Is it possible to not remove the original hair (or just cutting it short) and put the wig on?
I believe that may create an uneven look, but if you’re able to cut it really really short this wig should be able to cover that space, just unsure how it would line up or lay on the scalp.
Will this work with my plush Good Guy from Spirit Halloween? The wig I have for it bunches a little bit at the back…idk if I need to try and find a better fitting wig or if I should try to stuff it a bit with something underneath…idk, and tips would be much appreciated!
It may work, however that hair goes in different. It’s punched in and would need shaved down flat, and cant be peeled like the wig here. Also, I believe the Spirit Good Guy head is a little smaller than this one. So it may work, but you’d have to do some work to make sure the wig goes on okay and isn’t too large and hangs off the head.

The blanket was in a Bride of Chucky themed Loot Crate a few years back. But they pop up on ebay here and there :)

I'm sorry, but if I give my good guy doll, I am not doing that the hair looked better before, and I'm not trying to be mean or anything. That's just my opinion, sorry, if you think this comment is a little bit mean or annoying. 😔😔
