Oh wow! These dresses are beautiful and look great on them! How cute! They fit perfectly! No you would never think they could share! The tulle will be great once it’s fixed. They all look so cute! 💙💚
❤ that was absolutely amazing sweetheart only you could come out with an idea like that and it work it's just amazing they all look absolutely gorgeous in their dresses!! I can't pick my favorite because I love them all will God bless you I love you hugs and kisses coming your way XOXO!❤
Oh Jamie, I just love these "storybook" dresses. Vintage doll clothes are the best. I have enjoyed this video so much. Thank you for sharing with us and I hope you do another one like this soon. 😊
Ingenious Jaime! I'm an experienced sewist and I don't even like making Blythe clothes with those tiny seams! For stretched out elastic you can use elastic thread, (the slightly thicker one than the one used in Sewing machines) and a big eyed needle. A simple running stitch will do the trick! (where ever you need it tighter, like waistlinesor legs/arms.)😊 I used to tea stain some of my Blythe clothes to make them look vintage. Or, hand sew teeny tiny patches on them! It's fun! Thank you for this share!
Brilliant doll dress hack! I love the shattered pale blue dress with the lace kerchief. Wish there were some dolls that I could use this hack for my standard size MSD's no one makes clothes for them.
This outfits are so beautiful, I like the vintage dresses too. The Irish apron is so cute. I don't think I've ever ironed my doll clothes. the green madam Alexander white dress with the flowers best.
What a great idea and what a good buy! My favourite was the strawberry shortcake looking dress, but they were all lovely. I actually liked the pink socks with the blue dress, very hip. I found I had a small doll with little black shoes that fitted my midi blythe perfectly and I once bought a dress off a doll at the goodwill bins but didn't buy the doll, then felt guilty that I left her there naked. Anyways, I enjoyed your video and you have some really beautiful blythes.
This is great! Such a fabulous idea! I am mad about the little sailor outfit!!!! Are you familiar with the YT channel Stitch by Stitch with Lily? All of the Blythe clothes she makes are hand-sewn, and in each video, she goes through the full process of sewing a garment. So if you want to try out sewing for your girls (so rewarding!!) I'd definitely recommend giving hand-sewing a try! Minimal supplies needed, too: needle, thread, fabric, pins. Thanks for your video - all your girls look wonderful!!!
I love all the dresses especially the blue thread bear dress. Make me think of the little match girl. Beautiful dolls! Now I have a new thing to look for very old dresses. TFS Toodles,,^..^,,Melissa
you likely already know this, but lots of vintage skipper fit blythe well. over the years have found some very loved (and therefore not too expensive) pieces.
That was absolutely inspired, what a fantastic idea! 😍🥰❤️. I love the photos and I get what you mean with the raggedy clothing, it's like the dolls themselves have worn the clothes out. I think my favourite is the lacy Scarlet O'Hara dress on Billie? ❤️❤️❤️
@@letstalkaboutitwithjaime I just redressed my Blythe and Icy dolls so I tried a MA dress on my Pullip and she looks adorable. Thanks for the idea. I’m sure I will enjoy using MA dresses in the future with other dolls!
