I haven’t been to Market Harborough since I was young when I visited a relative who was working in a hotel/bar. I remember it being quite a historic building with an archway that went through to a parking area at the back but don’t remember the name. It was interesting to watch your walk, I saw a building that might have been the place I only vaguely remember - thank you.
There was a blonde waitress in a restaurant. Awesome eyes. Probably she's already married. I hope she is fine. It was 20 years ago. I usually used to be stoned walking to the station. Best chicken cobs in the buffet of train station. I love you England. I always will.
It's an odd place. The High Street hasn't got a single decent shop apart from food shops. It's just cramped little shops selling old fashion stock. There is actually a chocolate shop! In today's heath mad society MH has a chocolate shop! A few coffee places. No real atmosphere. Lots of oldies in the town! Guys, if you like looking at the girls, MH ain't for you. Old guys who like old women will love it. The Irish gypsie girls were nice but the town old people drove the caravans out when they parked outside the shops. The public toilets ...they will make you vomit! On video it looks kind of nice but you have to visit to really see. It's a really boring town.
Most small towns are boring tbh, the one I grew up in was only slightly smaller than Harborough yet had jack sht in comparison and was even more boring believe it or not lol. No DIY stores, about 2 banks after many shut down, stereotypical cafes, hairdressers etc. on the high st but only a few at that, hardly any independent stores, no events in the town centre like Harborough has every year. Most of the time I had to travel to Loughborough to do most things. Harborough at least has so many decent restaurants to choose from for such a small town, there's so many you literally don't need to travel out of town that's one thing O liked when moving here. Annual events like arts fresco or the international food markets are good, and I do like the nightlife, despite there not being a huge number of pubs/bars there are some nice ones. Also compared to some towns the centre's quite clean. I have to agree about the oldies though I've come to realise since moving here it's where people come to retire and yes those public toilets need gutting and refurbishing.
Was fantastic! Brought me memories when I was there to visit for first time. Thank you
A typical well preserved English town. Thank you for the amazing walking tour. Beautiful.
Much appreciated, thanks!
