    Looks good. Might need an adapter for situations where one would like to use it away from the beer tap. Maybe a bottle capper type contraption that fits this unit so you use the lever action to keep the seal whilst controlling the purge flow.

      The adapter actually exist and has been available for purchase for over half a year now :)

    First, I love the "Level Up" Comment. Now for the a question that I see has already been asked. Is there, or will there be an adapter for connecting it (inserting) into an Intertap or Nukatap faucet? A lot of homebrewers already have Intertap or Nukatap or like faucets in place on their current keezers and of course when you are bottle filling off tap you usually are going to move a few different beers on tap to some bottles for sharing so even buying one of the taps you mentioned isn't an option unless they were to replace all the taps which of course taps can get expensive when you have 4 or more taps. I have an Intertap and it is nice but has a few minor issues, so it would be nice to see if your system has improved upon their weaknesses. I do like the slightly different approach and the PSI markings a lot.

      Thanks again and great questions. Brewers with our SS Keg King Intertaps will be able to use them but the thread on Intertap is different depending on who is pedalling them and in which countries you find them. Put simply, we want people to enjoy Ultrafill and are making an attachment so that just about anyone who wants to use it will be able to regardless of the tap they have. The samples are on their way so once we test and are happy with them, then we’ll release to our distributors globally. Ultratap faucets will soon be available throughout the States. Compared to Inter it is a major step forward in performance and flexible application. The fact that anyone globally with an Ultratap can upgrade their existing taps to have the Ultratap Twist Flow Control feature is pretty awesome. Ultrafill is one more piece of Ultra-equipment that existing users will be able to apply immediately, but we are making it available to all other faucet type owners shortly. It’s a long story about how Intertap and the Numptytap came to be so prevalent across the American landscape. Lot’s of interesting spins on that one but performance wasn’t really the main reason. We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again. After many years designing and inventing innovative equipment for brewing and dispensing, never have we heard the beverage dispensing industry asking for anything other than stainless steel in their taps. I want to get a real Ultratap to you to check out, so contact info@keg-king.com.au if you’re interested and we’ll work out the details. Cheers!

    Is it essential to use a CO2 gas bottle with this counter pressure tap or could you use CO2 in a keg harvested from a pressure fermenter?

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  Місяць тому

      It will work best to balance the pressure and provide a purge to each bottle. If you can make it work with your pressurised keg idea, great, but it sounds like you're making the keg do what the cylinder already does. If you find this works to save you gas and money, then perfect!

    Is there any attachment in the works for can filling? You mention that you need to keep the seal to reduce foaming. How do we go about this with this filler?

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  Рік тому

      Very good question. The bung at the base of UltraFill can be swapped over to a bigger/smaller one so you could just replace to one that fits the can size you're trying to fill!

    Hi. Is this compatible with nukatap? Is a different bung required for a growler fill?

    • @Keg-King
      @Keg-King  2 роки тому +1

      Not compatible yet but will be for any other type tap owners. We're waiting on factory samples that will allow for this ability. You can switch out the bung depending on the opening size of your growler or whatever vessel you're filling. Cheers

    Adding to that maybe a bottle capper with that on one side and the actual bell on the other...

    Here is my feedback..
    I see pretty much negative things on this counter pressure filler.. I don't see much innovation compared to other products such as Nukatap or Boel Itap. (Nukatap is pretty similar but at least you have the good thing that you can attach a 3/8" for the beer line).
    As I can see you can only use this product if you have a beer tap.
    Also, this looks quite messy, as you need to keep the bottle pushed against the top. If it starts foaming, you will end up with half bottle with foam which will then exit the release valve and spill allover the place, maybe in your face as well..
    The only positive might be the price, but personally I would rather invest double the money to get Boel Itap

      We've used a lot of counter pressure fillers including the Boel, which we had the opportunity to become a distributor for down under. Boel is good. This is WAY less complicated to set up and use. All the CP fillers require users to keep the seal until filled. All the CP fillers will express foam if it's created during the fill but they all, including this one, will be able to be adjusted to reduce foaming. There's also some other equipment being created to get these units permanently set up for operation with or without a tap.
