Btw Oleg, I just happened to run across the Pagani Diver you spoke of reviewing soon. It's got amazing specs and only real flaw is odd use of 90 click bezel. Otherwise, incredible value with Seiko NH35a, sapphire crystal, ceramic insert on bezel, solid links and solid end links. 100 m of WR, screwdown crown, diver extension and screws used on bracelet, and on and on. $70 bucks on Ali-Express!
Good review . This watch is not me for me . Try to review the seagull 1963 Chinese pilot chronograph . Everyone loves them . Around , $250 now on Amazon . Lots of cool history behind the watch . Thanks .
I have one i picked up with sapphire and a display case back. They were $155ish on black friday and about $175 the other day when I looked. I love mine, in fact its on my wrist now.
Hey Oleg. Nakzen Sapphire with Miyota 9015 (the one that Shane reviewed on Relative Time) is my absolute favorite of the Chinese Specials so far - exactly because it doesn't have those kitsch diamonds like this Starking and i.e. the Cadisen with Miyota 9015. My regards and whoof-whoof to Mr. Bond. :)
Thanks for the review, Oleg, I always enjoy your relaxed but frank approach. I guess those diamonds would appeal to clientele interested in the "bling" look, although that is somewhat passé these days. That black finish appears less PVD and more lacquered. The steel finish would probably look better but the diamonds are a definite no-no for me although I agree it represents good value.
I have a very similar one in rose gold with a blue face. on mine the "Diamonds" seem smaller in scale, more like just small bright accents. I don't find them objectionable, and for the price it's quite a lot of watch.
I like ur rewievs about affortable watches. But im looking for a model like citizen eagle 7, or if you like an rolex datejust with fooded bezel. It seems that that they dont make it any more. To bad
Oleg, first, please stop torturing Bond with threats of broccoli !! It's cruel! ;-) Secondly, Happy Holidays to you, Bond & your lady! Thirdly, I actually like it & the diamonds don't bother me. I'd choose the black PVD as well, since I already have a couple of these Chinese $50-ish specials with sapphire, Seiko NH or Miyota 8 series movements in silver S.S., so the black PVD gives off a totally different vibe! Thanks!
Looks good value - the 'diamonds' don't bother me - but that steel bracelet doesn't go with the watch for me. I think it would look a lot better on a leather strap?
I never seen anyone so excited about the NH36/4R36. It's cheap and reliable but doesn't have the precision of the 6R15. For under $200, you can find many Seiko watches with the same movement and far superior built quality.
Dump the following:- Diamonds,day/date,PVD.Otherwise ok.I have a starking, the cheapest one they make @ around $19.00.Automatic,hand winding and hacking,28,800 bph.Seems to keep ok time.Alloy pie pan case with leather strap.
Definitely agree those "diamonds" are a gaudy, pointless design decision that seriously detracts from the watch. I also don't like the coin edge on a non-rotating dial, which also strikes me as pointless. Thanks for a well done review however!
Yeah, Romans in stead of diamonds would have done the trick. And I want to rely on being able to swim in it. Let's ask Pagani Design to do this design better. Maybe a bit smaller and a bit more of an angled bezel?
Tip top as always brother....this is a no, diamond's are not for me also the PVD almost looks like shiny plastic, cheapens the look....starking make some cracking watches....the true diamond here of course is that movement....this watch needs some minor adjustments, lose the diamonds and make it a matt finish and you'll sell them in the thousands....⌚🏴⌚🏴
The diamonds do not mater to me. They are not even big enough to notice. I do HATE the IP. NOT back just the process. That's likely why the bracelet feels cheap. It makes the links bind. I recommend soaking it in baby oil for a day. (NOT olive oil as someone says, that is a MESS that is near impossible to remove) wipe clean and wash with a soapy cloth hardly wet. I agree some black watches would be nice but i can only imaging gun blue? Even that wears es\easily. The watch repair guy says he was amazed at the quality, especially for the price. as always, thanks for the review.
I used to hate this brand because of the Chinese movement it came with, I saw more than one video of a watchmaker taking it apart. It was cheaply made and plastic gears. But with the NH36, that is a good movement. That is a great choice they did from the 50 dollar watches they used to sell. They had to ruin it with fake diamonds. I would not wear a watch with real diamonds. Perhaps they will come out with more models with the NH36 in it in the near future.
I don’t like it. It there reall a need to put 50m wr on the dial of these style of watch? Also, don’t like the diamonds . Personally, I don’t go for the so called “Chinese specials”. I would rather spend a little more and get a better watch. Ok be honest, most microbrands watches are either made or have parts from China or Hong Kong. Also most major brands also have Chinese parts. I think the Chinese specials give off the wrong idea about Chinese watches. There are so many good Chinese watches, like Phibious.
hi there, thans i just buy one today for €56,36 euros whit free shipping to the netherlands.i love saphire cristal .Seiko movement and fake Diamonds for €56 euros.stay safe im watching this in okt 2020
Funny though, but there are A LOT of "new old stock" mechanical vintage watches on eBay. I would rather buy one of these ... than ... 60usd "fully packed" but lack of any heritage value Chinese mass-produced watch ... with poorEST QC ... 😉
2:07 you have a pin ready to fall out.

I've grown past this sort of thing. Cadisen 1032 silver last cheap Chinese I bought. Happy enough with. Merry Xmas to you and Bond.
Mmmm not for me Oleg but terrific review as always love your channel.
Have a great Christmas and New Year . Hi Bond (:

Thanks for another great review
Merry Christmas from Calgary
By the way what are you getting Bond for Christmas

Looking forward to your Pagani design 1639 review...I own it and it is a stunning watch.
The diamonds are fine. That awful PVD coating looks like black fingernail polish.
I agree with you remove the diamonds, also get rid of all that extra writing on the dial. Starking and automatic is enough
I have a very similar one in rose gold with a blue face. on mine the "Diamonds" seem smaller in scale, more like just small bright accents. I don't find them objectionable, and for the price it's quite a lot of watch.
Is it still holding up? Considering buying the blue version as well
I like ur rewievs about affortable watches. But im looking for a model like citizen eagle 7, or if you like an rolex datejust with fooded bezel. It seems that that they dont make it any more. To bad
Could really do with a colour matched date wheel IMHO.
Happy Xmas 🎅🏻👍🏻
great video dude! mr bunt worked hard on this video

Is it possible to take them off? Would a watch repairer be able to do this? What could you substitute them with?
Might be a good base for a mod - changing dial / hands / strap...
I have a nice starking, but with a terrible movement..... This one has a great movement, but I also hate diamonds, lol!
hate starking movement. runs and stops randomly
Looks good value - the 'diamonds' don't bother me - but that steel bracelet doesn't go with the watch for me. I think it would look a lot better on a leather strap?
Rose gold blue looks amazing

I believe you are right nice watch but I could do without the diamonds
Me gustaría saber la opinión de Mr Bond del Starking. Cuántos Guau les dará?
I like the look of this watch. Great value too. Pity Seiko don't do sapphire on all their watches if this brand can....! Say hi to Mr Bond. 😆😺
Dump the following:- Diamonds,day/date,PVD.Otherwise ok.I have a starking, the cheapest one they make @ around $19.00.Automatic,hand winding and hacking,28,800 bph.Seems to keep ok time.Alloy pie pan case with leather strap.
100% right with the fake diamonds. Ruins it for me too mate, shame really
PVD coating ruins the look not the fake gems [all watches have man made jewels inside ].Looks much better in stainless and white dial
..finally figured out the bond joke from a few vids back, I've become daft and old apparently.)
I'd noticed this watch before, but the "diamonds" killed it for me
Definitely agree those "diamonds" are a gaudy, pointless design decision that seriously detracts from the watch. I also don't like the coin edge on a non-rotating dial, which also strikes me as pointless. Thanks for a well done review however!
This really makes you question how Seiko is not bothering with saphire crystal on their $200+ watches such as the Flightmaster/Samurai/SKX
200 meter WR need sapphire thicker than this one, but still i dont get it why on their 300+ $ still using that shit hardlex
Its kinda wierd , i always have the feeling than the camera is gonna fall when u do those windows/exterior shots. xD
Forget the specs. That watch screams "cheap Chinese watch".
Sorry PVD should be matte, the silver one is ok for a starter watch.
Merry Xmas Oleg

50m wr is usually ok for swimming,

I would prefer a deployant clasp...
Not a bad watch at all. But those diamonds though.
I used to hate this brand because of the Chinese movement it came with, I saw more than one video of a watchmaker taking it apart. It was cheaply made and plastic gears. Naw I don’t like it, can you make a review on the new omega seamaster?
They put a $40 movement in a watch that sells for $64.99!
Completely hate diamonds on the watch.
The glossy black and fake diamonds make it look cheap
Looks odd on that bracelet, it’s too dressy for that sort of stealth look, plus “diamonds” don’t scream stealth.....
Get rid of the diamonds, make it not black, change the hands so that I can see them.....wait, that's a completely different watch lol.
yeah, I'm going to agree with you on the diamonds. just awful
Any Parnis beats this

If it didnt have the diamonds I'd buy it.
more diamonds!!!!
Pseudo-bling!! Goom-Bah style.
hi there, thans i just buy one today for €56,36 euros whit free shipping to the netherlands.i love saphire cristal .Seiko movement and fake Diamonds for €56 euros.stay safe im watching this in okt 2020
Nice, but I'll pass.
Ugh. Those diamonoids are appalling. The rest of the watch is ok. The shiny bracelet is also a turnoff. Not tempted at all for this one.
I like my Starking. This is ugly though
Funny though, but there are A LOT of "new old stock" mechanical vintage watches on eBay. I would rather buy one of these ... than ... 60usd "fully packed" but lack of any heritage value Chinese mass-produced watch ... with poorEST QC ... 😉
nice watch don't like PVD coating cheers
It's horrible 😳
